If Fedor was on the list, I would've voted for him. But in the UFC alone, definitely Randy Couture. Just look at the stats:

3x UFC Heavyweight Champion

3 Successful Title Defenses

1x UFC Heavyweight Tournament Champion

Not to mention that he did all of this while still being a 2x Light Heavyweight Champion and holding the Interim Light Heavyweight Championship.

Agreed. The fact he was originally champion in 1997 and the last time he was champ was 2007. He is still fighting in 2010. Got my vote.

Really?

Bas Rutten or Fedor i guess.

Roy Nelson

Exactly. Thats why I said country boy Nelson. No Fedor?! Fail.

LOOOL :) Fedor should be on this

There seems to have been a MAJOR oversight on your poll.

Fedor is the greatest of all time .

There is no Fedor????

Then Bas Rutten is it.

Fedor is.

But in your list I would have to give it to Bas Rutten. He finished his career on something like a 20 fight win streak.

... the fact that rodrigo is 0-3 vs fedor makes the poll non-sequitur

What? You include Arlovski, Sylvia, Mir and Lesnar but NOT Fedor or even Josh Barnett?

From the choices you gave us, Nog is the greatest, followed by Couture and Rutten

IMHo, the ranking goes thus

#1 Fedor (effectively unbeaten)

#2 Nog (but for fedor, he dominated PRIDE, has never been stopped when healthy, and is still a top challenger in the UFC)

#3 Barnett (awesome skills, let down by failed drugs tests)

#4 Rutten (still a legend in the sport)

#5 Couture (for being a 2 time champion and repeatedly doing well against much larger men)

Because Fedor is not in the UFC and I dont count Barnett because of repeated failed drug test, I dont respect him as a fighter. READ THE OP PEOPLE.
