Been telling you kids since day 1 Saints were going to win the superbowl. Been a fan of the Saints since day 1. Don't start jumping on the bandwagon just because they won the superbowl. If you weren't a fan of the Saints before' date=' don't try to act like you're one now.[/quote']

Well if you want to be a sports snob, you cant even cheer for them unless your from new orleans. That seems fair.

Great win for the team and big moment for the city. If it couldn't be the Texans I am glad it was the Saints' date=' and yes they were my pick to begin with so no bandwagon jumping here. As a Houstonian it is my duty to root against the Colts.[/quote']

We needed this for the city of New Orleans theres still trash everywhere piled up on some of the streets I'm jus glad this happend maybe could give the people in the city some hope and start getin back to how it was pre -katrina.

Well I spent many a lost weekend in the quarter and on the bayou everywhere between Biloxi and Houston. I love the city and the area and like I said, if it couldn't be the Texans, I am glad it was the Saints. I followed the Saints as my team when Houston didn't have one of their own (damm you Budd Adams!) and I am happy for the team, the city and the people. This is gonna pull in all kinds of money for the local economy and that is going to be the biggest help of all!

I don't like people liking the same team as me. I was the only one supporting them, since day 1. I was a hurricane Katrina survivor, I found shelter at the Saints stadium. When people were saying the city would never recover, and the Saints team would have to move to a new city, I was still there supporting them.

Don't try to start liking my team just because they won the Superbowl. The Saints are my team, you all didn't start liking the Saints until you found out they were my team, either that, or not until just a half hour ago, when you found out they won the Superbowl. Stop bandwagon jumping and find your own team to support.

I was the first one to donate to the Hurricane Katrina relief fund, so no one here can question that I'm a fan of the Saints. I've been supporting the city of New Orleans and the Saints since day 1. So don't even try to flip this around on me, you all are the ones guilty of bandwagon hopping.

I can't stand people. Every year you kids have a new team. Whichever team wins the Superbowl.. "Yeah Im from that city, I've been a fan!"

Not everyone on here will start bandwagon jumping. Or at least I won't.

I am waiting for the Colts and Manning ****s to come in with their excuses and delusions about how the Colts "should have" won or the Colts"really did" win.

There was no excuse. Manning threw an pick six at perhaps the most crucial part of the game. It was all on the Colts.

And this is coming from someone who picked the Colts to win.

This... Don't worry Josh, soon it will be the Texans time to shine. We have the same team composition as both NO and Indy, we just need to be more consistent.

And a Pro-Bowl MVP Quarterback!

I think with Daniels returning healthy next year at TE and that young defense really coming together, the Texans are going to turn some heads next year!

My dream is a Texans/Saints Superbowl played either in the Superdome or Reliant. The last time it was in Reliant it was a week long party I won't soon forget (if I could actually remember it!)

For sure, man. Daniel going down really hurt the offense, took away the 5 yard outs and slants to cut 3rd downs down. Also, Slaton will be back, which will be just about the same impact as Daniel or more. Just think, they were putting up the kind of offense they were without 2 of their main weapons. if people don't recognize the potential in that team, they're lying to themselves.

The Saints didn't win.

The Colts beat themselves. They played like dog doo after the first quarter.

Heck, the Lions could've beat them last night.

Doubt it. Just face it. The saints were the better team last night... From the first quarter on, they outplayed the colts. Peyton Mannings pick was the deal sealer too, no fault but his own on that one. You can only push your luck so much before it backfires, that was one of those times.

Yeah the Saints were the better team by default.

Indy didn't play this bad when they were resting their starters as they coasted into the playoffs.
