ThePhenom1982
is that steffan bonner needs to be cut from the ufc! coleman is slow, weak defense, and it looked a total mismatch. he looked scared from the staredown onwards. feel for the guy coz i like him, but he should be a little embarrassed. maybe he was just here for the money?! retire coleman, you done the sport proud! cdaburnab
I never seen Coleman fight so carelessly. He didn't even go for a take down at all which is nothing like his other fights. I'm so ****in pissed right now. Mark Coleman is one of my favorite fighters and he didn't do anything in the ring at all. I thought the entire plan would be take down Couture and use that ground and pound. Instead he did absolutely nothing at all. I'm seriously questioning if this fight was fixed. He completely destroyed Stephan Bonnar, he made Stephan Bonnar look like an amateur on his first fight, and in this fight he moved around like a 75 year old man.... I really don't know what the **** happened out there, and I've been anticipating this fight forever. I'm so pissed to see Coleman finally get a shot, and completely ruin it. The sad thing is he'll never get another fight like this again, ever. This was like his retirement fight, and he fought worse then he did in his last 5 fights. RobinDarling
I kept getting the impression that Coleman showed up to collect a paycheck and not put too much effort into preparing for the fight. It's as if he knew he was defeated before he even entered the ring. He was there physically but mentally he seemed to be in another world. Coleman had more heart yelling at Tito than he did in the octagon with Randy. Aw well, Randy would have beat him either way.

TrueGrit
could have been the fact that fightin randy was a huge fight for him. he could have built so much pressure onto himself but then again maybe not since he has been in the game for a long time.. Alpha_Omega
Coleman is just too old. Coleman is disrespected by fans too much. He is the man. He was the man back in the day when - like Dana said - nobody was watching. He's a legend. Props to him. Props to Randy for his performance, though. cdaburnab
Just picture me sitting down yelling "go for a f'n takedown, wtf are you doing" very loud. He just stood their the whole time showing no control whatsoever. I'm still in shock. I think he got one punch in the whole fight. The second he got submitted I turned the tv off. I talked about this fight a year ago on these forums, and have made multiple threads asking for this fight. To finally see it happen and to see Mark perform the way he did just kills me. I've never been this upset over a fight before.

cdaburnab
I think the fight was set up. Coleman's a strong guy, and like they said before the fight started 80% take down success. He didn't shoot for a take down once, and up against the fence he didn't even try to throw Randy's weight around. I've seen pretty much every Coleman fight to date, and not once have I seen him fight like that.

cdaburnab
what are you talking about ? Colemans a pro wrestler, he has 80% take down attempts, and he didn't even try a take down when he had multiple opportunities to do so he destroyed bonnar, overpowered him, controlled him, and out punched him, and he didn't even attempt any of his usual moves on randy not rigged, but who spiked his water before the fight? he seriously looked like all of a sudden he turned 65 years old

No wrestler has an easy time with Randy, especially not when you are power over technique and 45 years old. Just so you know, Randy is Greco, Coleman is Freestyle...If Coleman ran straight at randy without trying to punch him and catch him off guard, he would of ended up in a clinch and Greco is designed to destroy freestyle in the clinch. Tonydixon2
Haha it was so funny when he came out and was in the prep area he kept trying to walk in the cage before getting his cup checked and etc. I was like "that's an old guy for ya". PJSMAN
There is no fixed fights ...so get real.
