Everybody asked me why I was counting out Coleman....

Ummm...that's why.

He's an old effing man. Not everyone can be Randy Couture. Couture is a phenomenal athlete and has taken meticulous care of his body. I'm pretty sure Mark Coleman was roided up early in his career and now has cut 50 pounds to make LHW. Not the same thing. Not even close.

Who is next for Coleman? Should he cut to 170?

I was not surprised by Thiago, that guy will be a force to be reckoned with at WW, and you could see it from his first few fights. I won't say I was surprised by Sonnen, I was more surprised by nate having absolutely no answers for Sonnen's wrestling. I knew Sonnen was a top notch wrestler, but I thought nate knew better than to get taken down at ease and controlled from his back like that. I realize this is easier said than done... but Nate is in a camp with some of the most elite wrestlers in the world, am I supposed to believe he didn't know his takedown defense and back game were a little too weak? He was supposed to be training for Dan Henderson and then he gets Chael Sonnen, In my opinion that's a fairly major step down in wrestling eliteness, and Nate still gets brutally out wrestled. I like that you did some good damage nate, but I'm disappointed you couldn't win this fight.

My friend and I were SCREAMNG at Nate (through the TV) to hit him with the knee. When Chael went for the take down, he seemed to have it ready a few times but he never delivered. If you know your opponent is going for a take down, you don't need to hide the fact that you're defending it. Sonnen wasn't really showing anything in the stand up so Nate should have just gone to a different stance to prevent the takedown.

Nate just obviously isn't a very smart fighter. You can't conclude anything different after that fight.
