smitty is on the downside of his mma-career, cung gassed off the hollywood-hiatus & that may give scott a brief extension ... doubt if dw would be interested (@ any weight)

I wouldnt be surprised if we do see Smith back in UFC at some point, but I'd say its more likely he will stay in strikeforce where the competition seems to give him wins more often

hes already been in UFC and did ****, why him being 30 pounds lighter would make a difference is beyond me

Smith is a great fighter but I don't think he is UFC caliber. He is tough as nails and is never out of the fight but I don't think he would stand a chance, especially at this stage of his career. He has been involved in a few of my favorite fights:
