Where Cro Cop really belongs

Any time Cro Cop has a fight now people bring up him moving down to LHW, while others still think he can go in HW. So let's finally have an official poll, fan opinion should Mirko stay in the heavyweight or move down to the Light heavyweight division?

I really think he should move down, this generation of heavyweight is just FILLED with bulky monsters, and Mirko's size is really getting detrimental to him.

He should cut to 205. But I don't think at his age right now if he can still do the required training & conditioning to do it. Same as with Cain & Fedor, they must also cut to 205 coz sooner the pain of reality will catch up to them that gone is the era of 230-245 lbs guy ruling the HW, gone are the days that when you're 265 you're a slow HW, 265 HW guys now are quicker & stronger (Brock, Mir & Carwin) than their counterpart 5 years ago.

i dont see why he should move down he more or less built a career of kicking down guys bigger than him

just because he doesnt really seem motivated anymore doesnt mean he needs a change of weight class he just needs his confidence and the motivation back.

I really hate this when a fighter loses a few fights people on here seem to instantly goto there argument that he does not belong in his division anymore its stupid.

Here's my argument. If he cuts down to LHW, what advantage does he have over the other LHW? His quickness at being able to cutdown the larger fighters is gone. The LHW fighters will be faster than him. He'll be the bigger fighter now, do you really see him going for takedowns and using his size to control his fighter?

Face it, HW is where he belongs and what is lacking in him is motivation. If he can rekindle that fire that he had inside him then maybe we would see the old cro cop back. But the reality is, he is 35 years old now and his best years are more than likely behind him. Remember the guy has been through some wars and his body is more than likely not in the condition it was in 5 years ago.

I think he's too old to manage the cut now' date=' there's no real purpose in fighting at 205 except that he'd be slightly bigger. He might as well finish his career in the heavyweight division where he can still have a moderate speed advantage.[/quote']

this whole argument is stupid. Cro Cop belongs where he is most comfortable at. And that's HW.

-buy the ticket. take the ride.

...even though many say he's much better suited for the LH's with his stature.
