Kevbo_Jones
I hear there is this book thats about this guy called "Jesus" that quite a few people think is good. I think they call it the new testament bible, revised by the church of england. I wouldn't recommend it, if you're not into fiction, though... Ares9139
If you're looking for books on fighters, Got Fight? by Forrest Griffin is great. It's not so much a biography as he discusses a lot of MMA technique in it as well, but it's a very funny read.

And there are a few scenes you just think, well thats overelaborated and doesn't really sound believable. If you've read the Harry Potter books you'll find its a lot like that. If you're looking for books on fighters' date=' [i']Got Fight?[/i] by Forrest Griffin is great. It's not so much a biography as he discusses a lot of MMA technique in it as well, but it's a very funny read. +1 - I saw a promotion vid for Griffins book, it looks great, i wish i had it. And also, a book called Inside the worlds toughest sport, by Jimmy Page is a good read.

Vonyoda
Forrest & Chuck Liddell's books are both good reads, Matt Hughes came across as even more of an idiot than ithought he was. Another good biography is Geoff Thompson, Watch my Back. Its his story about working the doors in pubs and clubs in Coventry in the 80's, 300 fights never losing, also a highly decorated martial artist and if that isnt enough, he's a personal friend of Chuck Norris. Anyone who's a personal friend of the Norris, is immediately elevated to legendary status, IMHO.

DanielCharlesworth
My favourite book of all time is Stephen Kings IT. The film sucked majorly, but the book is incredible, i've never come across such a mastery of a plot, the mans a literary genious. Also, check out F.Scott Fitsgerald's 'The Great Gatsby'. I studyed it in lit last year, i hated it at the time, but looking back, that was just because i had to study it, its actually a book i really appreciate. William Golding's 'Lord of the flies' is a great read as well. Just ask Nate Diaz
HackBennys
I don't really read books about fighters, besides Got Fight?. I just got finished reading The Butcher: Anatomy of a Mafia Psychopath by Philip Carlo and it was pretty good. I enjoy his bios. He grew up around Mafioso his whole life so his interpretation of alot of mafiadom is kind of an insider's take on it, not a biased opinion. Bravo13
A Fighter's Heart by Sam Sheridan. Great read. Lots of insight in to training, fighting. He started out as a writer trying to do a book on fighting, but he trained in Thailand and fought. Very good.
