Has A Gracie Ever Tapped Out?

Was just looking at the records of some of the Gracie family in MMA, and couldn't find any instance of when they've tapped out? There's some submission losses, but where the referee has stopped it not due to tap out. Just wondered if anyone knew of any instance where a Gracie has tapped out? I know Royce has stated in interviews that he will never tap out.

he was also the first person to ever tap a gracie. now that the world is training bjj' date=' the gracie name is not what it used to be, there are many bjj practitionars who are far better than gracies. BJ penn defeated renzo gracie in hawaii.[/quote']

The Gracie name is not on top in MMA, but in all honestly, it never really was. The early UFC events were all set up for Royce to win.

The Gracie name still holds weight in submission grappling competition.

This is ridiculous.

Royce Gracie introduced North America to BJJ and MMA by destroying the whole idea of "tough man" competitions.

Nothing was "set up" about early UFC events.

They were total free for alls.

Rorion hand picked every contestant for Royce to beat. Fighters entered the cage not knowing wtf a submission was.
