This is kinda something i never thought really till now, but who in the UFC out of the top dogs meaning top contenders in their division has the worst killer instinct, who sucks at realizing when they have an opponent hurt?

I was just re watching jardine vs rampage and rampage had jardine hurt like 4 different times and only tried to finish him like once out of those 4 times, so who do u think has a crappy kill instinct...

1. John Fitch (great fighter, but is extremely underrated because he only wins by decisions

2. Georges St. Pierre (obviously he is a great finisher, but I'm mentioning people's finishing ability in proportion to their skills. for how amazing of a fighter St. Pierre is, he could easily finish every opponent)

3. Gray Maynard (does not lose, but just basically lays and prays for victories)

good one and very good point, i never thought of that, now that i think about it that really is his downfall and mostly likely why so many people don't like him

Yeah I mean his finishing ratio is something like 65% but the guy is right after Fedor and Silva for best p4p in the world so it is a surprise anyone can make it 5 rounds with him

1. T. silva he could have ended rashad @ 108

My first thought was to say Thiago because of his huge missed opportunity against rashad. But then I remembered that over 90% of his wins are by KO. But his not jumping on Rashad was a HUGE mistake, and he probably would be in title contention now if he was able to get the TKO win

He gassed and needed to recover.

Did you even read the OP's post?

Knowing when an opponent is hurt and not taking advantage.

Did you ever step back to simply think Fitch and Alves are tough guys?

I definitely have to agree with 1 and 3. You make a good point about GSP too, considering his last few bouts.

Dan Hardy' date=' hurt Marcus Davis reallllll bad didn't finish him, didn't really try that hard. When he fought Swick he rocked him so much and everytime he did he'd clinch and go for a takedown, which he only got like once when he could of KO'd him on the feet with one more clean shot.[/quote']

The Davis fight could have been ended due to the blood, imo. The Swick fight I completely agree though, every time Swick got wobbly I was yelling for Hardy to punch him again..and every time he pushed him against the fence like Randy..

Yeah, the Swick fight was the big one. Just thought i'd bring up Davis because he was hurt really bad with that knee, and even with that elbow, and Hardy still didn't finish.

Well at that point Davis had never been finished, so it's not really Hardy's fault. Then in his next fight Saunders put him clean out..

I don't know if I agree with Thiago Silva...I'd actually put him as one of the best. Of all his wins, I'm pretty sure there are 0 decision victories....it's something like 12 KOs, 2 TKO's, 1 submission

I know where ur coming from tho with that Rashad fight....He definitely had him rocked and could have finished him!
