Vaseline
I had Gonzaga to win the JDS match. I believed that Gonzaga would be the biggest test to JDS due to his power and ground game, but it appears JDS took him apart. From this I can come to two conclusions 1) JDS is incredible 2) I had severely over rated Gonzaga I think it is a bit of both, although I wouldnt say JDS is incredible. I was upset that Gonzaga got finished the way he did as iv always liked his style of fighting, and I was surprised that JDS was able to finish him. That being said, I believe JDS has had great match ups which has let him flaunt his skills. I want to see him against a power wrestler. That, I believe, will be his downfall and the death of his hype. Be it Brock, Carwin or Velasquez, I dont see JDS winning. Not to say that JDS isnt a good fighter, but I am a firm believer in styles make fights and that is what I believe is JDS' weakness. Although I have to admit, I dislike JDS and am looking very much to seeing him get his face pounded sometime, but I must say, that is very unlikely to happen unless he gets top 5 competition, as he is one of the best in the world. Perhaps in years to come he will hold the title, but at this moment, I see others who are more likely to grab it than him. On another note, I am very disappointed with Gonzaga. He had so much potential and he doesnt seem to be able to extract it. Perhaps he needs to switch up his camp and training because I really can see him being something special. It's a shame. fastriding
I think Gonzaga has let the hit kick he KO Cro Cop with go to his head. Gonzaga has always been most dangerous on the ground. Although he packs power in his punches and kicks the ground is his domain and where he should get back to fighting. Had he successfully done what I thought he'd do and that's take the fight to the mat more this fight probably would have been very different. Until he gets away from thinking he can Cro-COP his way back to the top and start utilizing his BJJ he is gonna keep losing.
Kable
Gonzaga could have been alot more smart...he didn't take him down and try to submit him. He made the choice to Stand and paid for it.

Gonzaga is still a good fighter but is around 5 in the rankings (UFC) which is pretty damn good! I don't think he has ever been better than that, and I think he is already at/ past full potential. Exodus9mm
After seeing JDS KO Werdum with that uppercut from hell, I knew this kid was one day going to be champ. I predicted last year that by this coming September, he'll hold the UFC HW belt, and I believe it more than ever. His destruction of Gonzaga went exactly as I knew it would - Gonzaga actually belieiving he could bang with such a puncher. They need to put him against Velasquez next, and the winner of that bout takes on whoever holds the HW belt. Right now, he has the most impressive resume of any UFC HW in their last 5 fights, no question. Werdum, Struve, Cro Cop, Yvel and Gonzaga. All without a scratch on him. Counter left hooks.......all night long. Cigano ftw.
moaL
Looks very explosive, i'm not hyping him up in any but I feel that he can explode out and Joe Rogan mentioned something about his team saying he has "good hips" I presume for hip escapes etc etc. Tbh all he needs is really good TKD and keep working on his boxing and he'll be lethal. SkyTown
The one time Gonzaga tried to take him down he spun and stood up quick...Gonzaga didn't really have a chance to do anything or get a good hold on him. That seems to be some good defense to me...

But good job to JDS stepped up and KO'd em.
