Your watching the fights but you arent paying attention.....see whats been happening alot lately ??? Knock outs...I dont give a fck what size you are if any of these lighter heavyweights ( jds' date=' cain ) connects, your taking a nap[/quote']

That's true of most of the HW division though. If Carwin or Mir catch you on the chin you're going down as well, especially Carwin.

And Lesner, well he'll just bull rush so you better catch him fast.

Fans are sooooo fickle now a days. It's like whoever they see win last is the best... smh. I love JDS, but let's be freaking serious. He just isn't ready for Brock, Mir, Carwin, CAin and it would never happen, but Nog is better than him as well. I think a great fight for him would be Kongo as long as they can find Cain a matchup that allows that. But JDS has one talent that we've seen so far... boxing. He hasn't been on the ground AT ALL. We don't even know what his take down defence is like because he hasn't even fought a wrestler yet. And we all know that wrestling is the premeire discipline in MMA.

I love JDS' date=' but would he be able to dominate bigger people such as mir, carwin, and lesnar?[/quote']

if vera could KO mir then JDS can easily

carwins chin hasnt been tested, neither has brock's.

but id say hes more likely to KO carwin than lesnar. i dont see lesnar being KOed to be honest.

Cain's beaten nog, rothwell, kongo, and o'brien

JDS has beaten werdum, cro cop, gonzaga, yvel

carwins real notable win is gonzaga

JDS also has a kickboxing record of 18-0

and a brown belt in BJJ.

i dont think he's ready for Brock yet, thats why you put him against Cain..

the winner of Mir-Carwin will lose to brock and the winner of JDS-Cain will fight him

JDS is at the top of the heap. maybe not top 5 worldwide yet, but definitely in the UFC with the others mentioned

You can't really that he isn't ready to fight anybody. You just said it yourself, "We don't even know what his take down defence is like because he hasn't even fought a wrestler yet." That doesn't mean he shouldn't be fighting top guys. That just means we don't know what his TD is like. Gonzaga did try to take him down and he popped back up real quick, and one of his teammates (I forgot who but I heard Rogan say it last night) said he's got good hips. Whether or not that's true, I guess we'll have to wait and find out.

Guy looks like a stud though.

As I said in another thread: JDS' date=' Brock, Mir, Carwin and Velasquez are all capable of beating each other and I think all of them will lose in the next couple of years. And I think the title will change hands numerous times.[/quote']

People keep saying we have to wait and see what his ground game is.

If he keeps knocking people out, when exactly does he get a chance at the belt, because nobody is testing his ground game while their eyes roll back in their head and they awake minutes later staring at the stadium lights.

Gonzaga and Werdum, two of the best JJ HW in the world could not do **** to hit and people still say we have to wait and see.

I am sure if he Ko'ed Fedor in the first minute of round one people would still be questioning JDS.

i agree Gonzaga is huge and JDS put him on his ****...Dos Santos v Velaquez would be great to watch

Gonzaga is not as big as Mir, Carwin, and Lesnar. My point is that when if JDS fights someone REALLY big, he better knock them out fast or he'll be on his **** all night

JDS is taller than all of those you listed. He is also faster, and will beat all of them to the punch.

PS. Carwin is not 6'5, he's more like 6' 0"

JDS is really 6'3 or 6'4"
