heavyweight division ! mir vs carwin & co

Well , we all have noticed that this division is getting better with every new event ,and no one knows whats gonna happen ,or who will reign the division , personally Im not sure who's gonna keep the belt , or whats going on with Lesnar, will he fight this year ? why no one says hows going his training , they say lesnar is healthy but, when will he be able to defend de crown ? if he does...

Carwin and Mir will be facing each other this saturday , in a match really interesting, I think Carwin will KO Mir in round 2, but if Mir can take Carwin down this match will be so diferent , cus shane feels great on his feet and has a great angle atack with a heavy right hand , so Frank should work him at least 3 rounds on the ground because carwin is ued to go on the early 2 minutes, so the more lasts the fight the easier will be for mir (gosh my english sucks).

If Mir wins , Carwin will be left apart on the division , and the next big fight will be MIR vs LESNAR III, a great fight for buisiness and marketing , this fight will be seen for us soon or later , so the sooner he better... but this fight probably could happen on August if Lesnar is ok. soat this point the division gets boring or stuck ? NO WAY

Recently JDS won his fight against Gonzaga by KO , I got some stuff to say about this fight , Gonzaga shouldnt exchanged with such a great boxer as JDS , the best in all the UFC,so why Dos Santos is that dangerous ? 1 his boxing , great combos, he is one of the few fighters who work the body with punches , great heading , big reach , besides he is left handed , and thats why u shouldt try to trade with him or kick with right leg.

The next panorama for JDS is Cain Velasquez , we all knew this will happen, I think Cain has a lot of chances to win because is well rounded , has a good chin ,can take any one to the ground , great cardio , good kicks , nice boxing, better ground and pound and he prepares his fights with perfect game plans.

So whatever happens on this fights I bet UFC will keep us on the edge of our seats , whatching every new fight and expecting whats gonna happen in a category filled of great contenders to the belt. The ones wining in the end will be us

Dana White confirmed that JDS will not fight Cain. Reason being, with lots of potential heavyweight stars/contenders coming up, why knock one down?

look for JDS vs loser of Mir/Carwin or winner of Nelson/Struve... or if they're feeling really sadistic, Kongo, (but I see Kongo fighting either Gonzaga or Duffee in the near future).

Good observations my friend. I hope it's Mir/Carwin loser and not Nelson/Struve winner. The latter just wouldn't do JDS justice.

i am just thrilled that the hw division is once again so great. it has always been fun watching big dudes fight, even in boxing. with boxing hw was always the prime thing to watch (in boxings prime anyway) and for a long time the ufc's hw division was lacking but imo it is the most dynamic and exciting division in the ufc now. gabe gonzaga said it best when he said " big guys lil gloves, somebody gonna fall" im siked to see how this division plays out in the next few years now that there is some great competitors once again. and big nog isnt out of it yet. he lost a fight against a great fighter, that doesnt mean hes done for, just about everyones lost to a great fighter. he might lose some more, he might win some more, but hes not out.

Ya over the last 2 years it is really starting to build, and there's some new blood to watch to see how they do with people like Duffee and a couple others.

Think last year at this time, there was 20 HW in the division now it's at 27 with supposedly a few more signing soon. personally want to see the HW division get to around 35 to 40 in it.
