MMAUnltd
New article up at fightmagazine.com, which is the first of three focusing on the UK's first UFC title challenger Dan Hardy. http://news.fightmagazine.com/dan-hardy-ufc-111-2-4240/ Spending time with Dan in Leicester and Nottingham at the Rough House to get an insight into his mindset and preparation, it's an interesting read as the hour of battle draws ever closer. ?I?ve always been underestimated, even on the smaller shows, it was always, ?Oh this is the one where he is going to lose,?? he continues. ?I always seem to pull through. I?m not as maybe as physically imposing or not as technically or athletically gifted. I think the thing that?s get me through a fight is the sheer enjoyment of putting a beating on somebody and I think when the fight gets into the later rounds and you have to dig deep, I can dig a little bit deeper. ?That?s how I?m getting through, and you know that?s not something you can see when you look at somebody which is probably why I?m being underestimated a lot. And people want me to lose.?
AceMcCluskey
Pretty nice article, thanks for the link. Hardy seems like a pretty down to earth guy, I don't think he will be victorious against GSP but I wish him well in the future.

jonzero1
Thanks guys. Yep' date=' he actually separated from them a couple of fights ago, before Swick anyhow. Him and his Dad take care of the business side of things now.[/quote'] I think with new people in his corner, and the strength and conditioning training he's doing, he is defo on the right track. I just hope he gets the chance to showcase his new assets on the weekend.
