brewster
Strikeforce only pulled a 1.0 with 2.63 million viewers. (UFC replay of 110 drew well with 1.4 million viewers.) UFC actually had better viewership numbers than the live Strikeforce card in the demographic of males age 18-34 with a 1.4 versus a 1.26 for Strikeforce. I think this will be the last we see of Strikeforce on CBS...

I didn't want to miss a knock-out or submission but I also really wanted to see Wanderlei Silva and Cain as I didn't before. I wish I stayed tune for Silva and Cain though. Juzie
Strikeforce has nothing on UFC, never did, never will. It is fun to watch on the side but only haters will tell you it is anywhere near as good as UFC.
CHUCK_N0RRIS
I watched SF to see new fights. I don't care too much about ratings, but isn't it a little redundant to rate a re-run for a PPV?

Its the same reason I watch Unleashed, because I like seeing the fights again. Sure live fights are better but everytime i watch a strikeforce event i get dissapointed so i dont watch them. The point of the thread is the ratings, networks only care about one thing, ratings. My point being, that no matter how much you love Stikeforce (and I do), I believe CBS is going to drop them. Is that bad? for those like us who like the product, perhaps. It certainly doesn't mean Stikeforce will go under (yet), just we will have to continue watching it on Showtime. brewster
Fedor may not be back. He is renegotiating his contract with Strikeforce and if Strikeforce gets dumped by CBS, they lose a significant chuck of revenues. Revenues that they needed to be able to pay some of the big name they signed recently. Stikeforce is going to be in some very serious financial trouble if they do indeed get dropped by CBS. Don't call me "bro"
