Stikeforce ratings

Strikeforce only pulled a 1.0 with 2.63 million viewers. (UFC replay of 110 drew well with 1.4 million viewers.)

UFC actually had better viewership numbers than the live Strikeforce card in the demographic of males age 18-34 with a 1.4 versus a 1.26 for Strikeforce.

I think this will be the last we see of Strikeforce on CBS...

I was flipped channels back and forth to be honest. I didn't want to miss a knock-out or submission but I also really wanted to see Wanderlei Silva and Cain as I didn't before. I wish I stayed tune for Silva and Cain though.

not to mention SF's fail in advertising viagra to a young male demographic.

and that they were beat out at certain point by RE RUNS of law and order SVU

sad day for CBS/SF

Good to be in the UFC

I watched SF to see new fights. I don't care too much about ratings' date=' but isn't it a little redundant to rate a re-run for a PPV?[/quote']

nah, i dont think seeing re-run fights is redundant at all. Its the same reason I watch Unleashed, because I like seeing the fights again. Sure live fights are better but everytime i watch a strikeforce event i get dissapointed so i dont watch them.

big deal..every 1 seems 2 be bashing strikefroce..do u enjoy mma or just the ufc..ufc isnt a sport...i love the ufc..but i also love mma...there is a monopoly in mma and every seems 2 be ok with that

It has nothing to do with that. The point of the thread is the ratings, networks only care about one thing, ratings. My point being, that no matter how much you love Stikeforce (and I do), I believe CBS is going to drop them.

Is that bad? for those like us who like the product, perhaps. It certainly doesn't mean Stikeforce will go under (yet), just we will have to continue watching it on Showtime.

Fedor may not be back. He is renegotiating his contract with Strikeforce and if Strikeforce gets dumped by CBS, they lose a significant chuck of revenues. Revenues that they needed to be able to pay some of the big name they signed recently.

Stikeforce is going to be in some very serious financial trouble if they do indeed get dropped by CBS.

Don't call me "bro"

Those are good numbers for Strikeforce. The only time they've done better than that was with Fedor.
