Heartkiller
What are your thoughts of Japanese MMA now that we've seen Gomi and Aoki beaten in recent US based events? I think its lost a little credibility but still want to see these guys fight over in the USA and i would love to see Dana sign Aoki just to have this guy in the UFC i think he is a good character and fun to watch. Maybe they were both thrown in the cage with too good fighters at this time? I also didnt realise how young Aoki was until i seen the stats last night,
StaySmartGE
Japanese fighters are overrated. I dont like any of those. Except Sakuraba.

MayorMccheez
Japanese fighters are just honestly way to small. They don't cut weight so come fight night the guy they are fighting is usually 20+ pounds heavier then them.
lulwut
Was Aoki not allowed to wear his usual spandex pant like he normally does?
SamuraiHart
You can't take anything away from Japanese MMA and the artists, even if they do get beat.
BrockObama
I really wish Japanese fighters were more competitive in the US, but they aren't for some reason. The best explanation that anyone has floated is that they don't focus enough on nullifying the weight disadvantage.

Aoki looked like a little kid last night. He looked as small as a bantamweight to be honest.
PakaL
Japanease fighters seem 1 dimensional.......Do they not have boxing masters over there?Do they really think MMA is only GROUND GAME?
PRIDEneverDIED
Japanese MMA and American MMA are completely different, the rules, the environment, the cage the list is endless. Personally i am a bigger fan of Japanese MMA, maybe its because most of those fighers dont have suits breathing down their back to KO someone in dramatic fashion. Not to mention the Japanese crowd is amazingly respectful and far more tolerable than a lot of UFC fans.
