Apex_predator
Hey, I know some of you guys train and compete, or even if you don't, whats some of your fave techniques you like to use or see? I'll start off, When competing my fave techniques would be a spinning kick, used closely when your in a clinch position, very effective if you have the speed and flexibility. Hits your opponent right on the back of the head (I know illegal shot in the octagon) Also for fun a jumping spinning back kick, again done from the clinch position with a lil push off from your opponent. ( I named it the flash kick) A notable mention to the single leg takedown, guillotine choke and sweeps from a standin position. Whats yours and why? DanielCharlesworth
Left Hook, Right Straight, High Kick - One of my favourite combos. Doesnt matter if the punches land, they're there just to disguise the kick I've had much success landing the kick cleanly doing this. Double left hook, right straight - Because like the guy above said, there's nothing like punching someone in the face eh And leg kicks in the clinch, something i picked up from a Shogun vid, the close range means you can really dig your shin into the meat of their thigh and do them some damage. My fav combo too. Sumtimes I replace the hook with jab. I like using flying knee because it usually suprises your opponent and it looks cool. On the ground I've got most of my subs by arm triangle, guillotine, d'arce or anaconda .When I get hold of your neck you r done;) When watching fights I like body shots because I know that they hurt like hell. On ground peruvian neck tie or just good old RNC.

However, i throw it for that purpose alone, they jump back, and as i land i go for a high kick because they have put themselves in range and usually off guard As you may have picked up, my primary purpose is to put my shin/ foot on someones face
