Jose Aldo reminds me of Vitor Belfort

A better comparison would be like Shogun. They have a very similar striking style and they both "supposedly" have great BJJ. I know Shogun does' date=' but I have yet to see Aldo's really be put to the test. Not saying it is bad at all though.[/quote']

Aldos BJJ is likely the best in the WEC and easily the best in the Div. He is very talented on the ground

He's a completely different fighter. Yes he is a feared striker like Belfort, but he goes about his attack completely differently. I can't remember seeing Vitor use leg kicks like Aldo does. Aldo can't throw punches from multiple angles like Belfort does. Aldo uses good foot work like Belfort, but he's a muay thai guy, whereas I see Belfort as a boxer.

After seeing Aldo's fighter with Faber I don't think he'd last too long in the UFC. You have to have killer instinct, and he could've ended the fight with Faber several times, but didn't go for it. If he did that same stuff with Melvin Guillard he'd get popped into a coma.
