Would NOT complain about wrestling. (advise watch boxing)

Would look at the fighters skills and not his personality to give your predictions of the fight.

Would look at the fighters skills and not look at his past just to put him down for being a former WWE Superstar.

Thanks.

your first "would" is dumb because a fighters personality translates into the cage..ex: chuck likes to party and live a fast life.so in the cage hes always lookin for a fast knockout..another ex: anderson silva loves to joke around in real life..so in the cage he tends to be more than eccentric in how he fights

your second bold statement just shows your man love for lesnar

No I'm a true MMA fan sorry.

my favorite fighters.

People also complain about GSP for his wrestling by the way.

I just wish you and all the "MMA fans" would be honest and not just say what you want to hear or what you wish was a reality. Thanks

I do not dislike any wrestler in the MMA game. I dislike when one fighter is more than a match for another fighter but chooses to play it safe by A) pressing the fight against the cage because you don't want to strike or get struck or B) they take the fight to the ground and stall because they can't or don't want to do anything else and and getting takedowns and staying in top position is so heavily weighed. Press them up against the cage and learn effective dirty boxing, elbows and knees to finish the fight. Take them down and beat on them or try to submit them from the top. For the love of all that is MMA Holy stop stalling and fight.

Other than him being way too emotional I got no probs with Brock as a fighter, he will try to finish anyone.

Chuck likes to party so he tries to knock people out!? There is probably some guys that like to party that is a BJJ black belt and try for submissions.Fail

I am a fan of Lesnar.

I'm also a fan of GSP,Dustin Hazelett,Chuck Liddell,Randy Couture. What about it? I hate the fact that you and everyone else put Lesnar down because he came from the WWE. He is the UFC Champion so you should respect that.

If your talking about GSP just laying on top and not trying to finsih.Watch the fight he had with Dan Hardy. He tried a couple of times to finsih him.Fail

Everyone keeps saying that fighters just lay on top of their opponents. I have never seen it done.If they just lay there without doing anything else then the ref stands them up.

I was actually talking about people like Sonnen who is a "grinder" but rarely actually finishes a fight, and Evans who was more than a match for Jackson, but chose to press the fight against the cage for the majority of that match. You can fail whoever or whatever you want. Stop taking offense because GSP is your idol. I actually thought GSP did try to finish the fight weirdo.

Ohhhhh no another Fail? As I sit here biting my nails and ponder why someone would do that, no one especially me, cares how big or often you can type words like noob, newb or fail. No matter how often you type them or what size I'm not the one looking like some over hyped fanboy nutjob. The Sonnen Marquardt fight is just one fight in either fighters career. Sonnen is not my favorite fighter so what, forums are for discussing opinions. All you seem to be able to do is throw out whatever catch internet word comes to your mind. Here's an idea, type (insert internet phrase or word here) a whole bunch and make it really really big then post it until your fingers are sore. Then, put down the Redbull, step away from the keyboard, walk outside, get some exercise and let go of whatever keeps you up at night. Then get a clue, it's the internet and it's just an opinion. Yours is not hurting me, but mine seems to be hurting you way deep down. Like I said go for a run and let it go man, it's ok, really.

I'm in pretty good shape by the way. I workout and train every single day of my life. Thanks

I dont have a problem with wrestling, im sure that no one else does, we have a problem with lay n pray WHICH ARE DIFFERENT THINGS. Jon fitch uses his wrestling like he should, he delievers a beating (always goes to decision) but is still doing something. same with koscheck. but gsp and rashad just seem frightened as hell (they even said it at one point) to stand, so they literally just waste the clock by sitting on top of a guy. Sonnen is also a godawful mma-ist, he should just stick to wrestling i mean the man cant fight he can just wrestle. the problem with this is that its turning to sport into....WRESTLING, not mma, when i watch it i like to see a bit of everything not just 3 rounds of chael getting his **** beat by marquardt from the bottom and winning because he was on top. Like marqyart didnt even have a cut or bruise, chaels face looked like it was run over by a ford bronco.

Haha, I gotta be honest. I watched about 30 seconds before I got distracted by another link that said "Arianny Nip Slip". It totally shows her left ****** and I certainly found that more entertaining.

Chael got a cut. Isn't the first time someone was cut in a fight and won. If you watch the fight you can see that Chael won that fight easy. Could you tell me who hit who more in that fight and also tell me about how many more times that person hit his opponent.

If you watch GSP vs Dan Hardy you will see GSP trying to finish him.

If you watch GSP vs Thaigo Alves you will know that GSP got injured in that fight and still dominated so you should appreciate that.

If you watch GSP vs BJ Peen you will see GSP finish a fight.

I have Carwin in this fight, but take nothing away from Lesner. He walked in, faced his first loss. Took out the Man Randy Couture and then avenged against Mir. Say what you will, but the guy is the champ in a stacked division. if he does get passed Shane than he has a long string of prospects coming his way. If he cleans out the HW division, alla Silva with MW and GSP with WW, his status as the best will be solidified and will quiet a lot of haters.

I don't see Carwin winning this one. Yeah I think if he gets a clean shot on Brock's chin it will be over but I just see Brock getting the takedown pretty quick.

Perfect response, secondly OP, if you have to come on the forum and try to prove to others that you are a "true MMA fan", odds are you're not. Hating on boring fighters and boring fights is not the fault of the fan, it's the flaw in the rules.

oh boy, u sure dont know how to read, so let me serve u quickly.

First: i never said chael lost, i just said he cant fight, all he can do is wrestle, and being in a dominant position for so long he wasnt even able to put a scratch on nate.

Second: gsp had like 4 perfect chances to submit hardy....and he couldnt (or didnt) so instead he just sat on him, with hardy coming out without a scratch.

Third: Gsp did the same as hardy, exept this time, he actually scratched alves. Though instead of continuing to GnP alves, he didnt, he just layed on him for 5 rounds.

(Are we seeing a pattern here?)

Fourth: The B.J penn fight was a long time ago, back when me and a lot more people liked GSP and didnt know he was a *****.

Casino16,

How is GSP scared and Jon Fitch effective? There both effective. Jon Fitch likes to use effective ground and pound in an oppenents guard or half guard. GSP likes to pass guard and use ground and pound or go for submissions. They are different approaches to ground fighting. That does not mean one is scared and one is effective because they are both winning fights. GSP has finished 13 out of his 20 wins and Jon Fitch has finished 10 of his 22 wins. GSP actually takes more risks on the ground than Jon going for submissions and passing guard, things Jon does not even try. So how does that make GSP scared and Jon Fitch effective? There both good fighters, but GSP takes way more risks than Jon Fitch.

Rewatch the Sonnen-Marquardt fight. Nate landed that elbow in the 3rd and had some other nice strikes but Chael was pretty damn busy that whole fight. Also, a fighters face doesn't always tell the story of a fight.

He can't fight but he can wrestle...wrestling is part of fighting. It don't matter how many scratches nate had he still lost that fight.

He couldn't finish the fight but he tried and thats all you can do...He is not the only person to go to a decision.

He got injured in the Alves fight and kept fighting the best he could. He could have quit but did he?No...so once again you should respect that.
