SuiSki
How would Ken Shamrock (in his prime) performed against today's top 5? Or any of the great fighters.
Melvinj0
MMA was almost a different sort back then. Non of the old school UFC fighters could hang with the elit of today. Pride fighters can though, They've proved it

the_bear413
Terribly' date=' fighters are evolving, some experts say that in the future ther will be divisions stacked with bj penns, gsps and anderson silvas.[/quote'] You don't need to be an expert to see that. This sport is brand-new in comparison to baseball, basketball, football, and hockey. The talent pool for these sports is saturated and you really need to be an excellent athlete to make it in the pro's, and the same thing (hopefully) is going to happen with MMA. There are more kids starting to train at an earlier age, just like the 4 sports aforementioned. In 15 years, this sport is going to be packed with talent. Claymore831406051745
How would Ken Shamrock (in his prime) performed against today's top 5?Or any of the great fighters. Ken Shamrock in his prime was no Joke. I don't know that he'd be champ, but would hang in there IMO.
uaquin
How would Ken Shamrock (in his prime) performed against today's top 5?Or any of the great fighters. Thing is Shamrock in his prime was in Pancrase. He didn't have very good striking, he was the like Matt Hughes version 1.0. Catch wrestler with good submissions. I think he would win some but today's MMA fighter is so much more well rounded.
robnjes08
Shamrock would get cut for a losing streak. Yeah, but a Shamrock in his prime, with the skills and knowledge of current mma elites is a dangerous man.
