King_Can
"Jon just burst onto the scene but has looked so exciting in all his fights. I'm not privy to the thinking of Dana [White] on the matter, but Jon Jones is certainly one of those guys with a lot of expectation who Dana and Joe [silva] will have to nurture in the correct way. A victory over Vladimir Matyushenko would already put Jones at the top and closing in on a title shot. He would probably be two or three fights away, and if he keeps winning it will be very hard to keep him from walking through that Octagon door to a title shot. Jon's got a great temperament, nobody is really pissed off by him, and he has plenty of people wanting to work out the mystery of how to beat him." UFC UK President Marshall Zelaznik boards the "Bones" bandwagon Many peoplesay he is overrated and imo he sure is, but hes still undefeated. hes over rated because he hasnt been challenged. But who can challenge him? es proven he can go were over the fight takes him. My question is how do you beat a fighter like Jon Jones? what style could beat him? The only one i can think of is Rampage, because hes a hard hitter and he can wrestle. Jones wouldnt be able to knock him out or throw him because rampage is much stronger, and wouldnt be able to submit him. Shogun could beat him too, but theres no proof on how good jon jones really is, so i guess we will have to wait. p.s when Jon Jones beats high level competition, will you haters finnaly accept him for a possible light heavyweight contendor? Jones striking is not even close to Machida's, Rampage's, or T.Silva's they would all put him out and i can only see Jones being able to TD Silva who has a underrated ground game that just sub Jones or sweep him and GnP Jones to death. Jones is like a baby Rashad, Rashad is more explosive has better strikes, is much faster, and wrestling is a notch above Jones, the only thing you could give to Jones is debatabley the chin which his hasn't been tested.
