Interesting video!

Silva makes no sense.

He is not impressed by BJ' date=' yet thinks BJ might be better than him.

BJ is better than GSP, didnt he watch UFC 94?

I would love to see GSP kick his ****[/quote']

I'm guessin he means P4P. Don't really want to start another arguement. But, GSP has beat BJ because of size and stregth, not technique.

I think people mistake wrestling skill for size and strength.

He also outstruck BJ, but that might be because BJ was out of it for most of the fight. Bj himself said he couldnt remember the later rounds

LMAO ' date=' again i don't get mad when talking to a guy that doesn't really exist to me , on the contrary im having fun :)[/quote']

If he doesn't exist to you that means your talking to an imganinary friend. Meaning you are crazy, which would explain a lot of your thoughts and opinions on mma.

I would agree with the fact that wrestling skill is mistaken a lot. But holding somebody up against the fence and constantly driving in to them to wear them down is mostly strength. It would depend on which fight you were talking about as far as the striking goes. Because BJ picked GSP apart in the first round of the first fight. He was bleeding from a cut under his eye and nose and in the 2nd round he got smart and used his great wrestling. GSP has admitted he was scared after the first round of the first fight. But, GSP all out pummelled him in the 2nd fight, granted.

Yeah. i was reffering to the 2nd fight.

The bold is true, but he only did that for one round, which turned out to be quite even. Once on the ground BJ's bjj was not at all effective on GSP, where as GSP's guard passing (which is mainly technique) was to much for Penn

Lol. Not pissed at all, actually i'm smiling. People who hate just to hate baffle me. It just sad to me that you actually so worried about another dude, that you have to threads going at the same time hating on him. Thats borderline gay, brah. And don't worry, I know you asked me why i was so pissed to take the attention off the fact you were getting mollested (dont mean to bring up your past memories) in that little verble warfare.

Sorry, that was a little harsh. Just don't see why you can't give the dude his props, when he is obviously a great fighter. He has accomplished way more the Shogun and you obviously like him and thats not to say Shogun isn't a great fighter.

Guard passing is more about timing than anything but, point taken. Not sure about that round being even but, GSP definetly won that fight. I would argue that he was passing his guard because of BJ being tired but, I could be wrong. Maybe GSP BJJ is that good, he was able to pass when he felt like it. But, his fight against Hardy where he couldn't quite finish a submission would leave me to believe otherwise. Once again, I'm not trying to say BJ is the better P4P fighter at all, was just trying to clarify what I thought AS meant by the statement. Also, being someone who trains a at a Gracie gym and being pretty good at BJJ, I have grappled with collegiate and state champion wrestlers and they are a handfull to deal with because their base is so good and they don't let you create much space to pull a submission off. And I can only imagine the nightmare that GSP would be on top of you.

Maybe because Shogun is all class and Silva is no class?
