I don't know how many of you are interested in this sort of thing but this is a video about the pitbull controversy about them all being vicious and natural born killers.

I personally think the only reason some pitbulls are like that is because their disgracful owners only taught them fight fight fight and kill kill kill.

Discuss.

*EDIT* It's a great video aside from the Iggy Pop music lol. :P

Im joking' date=' i dont think any animal is evil, even a shark. They just do what they gotta do, and sometimes people get in the way.[/quote']

I think pitbulls only do what they are trained to do by their disgraful owners who teach them to fight and kill and nothing more.

its not always the owner, and its not always pitbulls. There have been plenty of cases where a dog that normally is sweet, loving, and harmless, snap on there owners and attack them.

my girlfriends sister had a rottweiler since it was a puppy, and was always really dosile especially to his owners. But one day he just bit and latched on to my sister in laws fiance. Its not like they trained him to be mean or tortured him. i guess sometimes there instincts kick in and take over.

yea certain breeds are definitely going to be more agressive than others depending on what they were bred for.

What was the pitbull bred for?

these dogs were used as catch dogs for semi-wild cattle and hogs' date=' to hunt, to drive livestock, and as family companions;[8'] however, some were selectively bred for their fighting prowess,[9] and starting in the early 20th century, they began to replace the bull terrier as the "dog of choice" for dog fighting in the United States.

Straight from the pedia

nature > nurture.

nature has more to do with it than nurture. with that being said' date=' ofcourse breeding a pitbull to be vicious and a killer will make him into one.[/quote']

I think all dogs, even pit bulls, can be trained into loving animals and not vicious killers like many people make this breed of dog out to be.

Oh and by the way just to put this out there, It's a myth that pit bulls lock their jaws when they bite something. They can't really do it.
