What do you think of this song/band

Hey, just want your opinion about that song/band:

They since in both Hebrew and English (This one is in English) and are my favorite band back home.

 

There are many artists that are successful in their homeland, but when they sing for a different audience, something "gets lost"... I don't know exactly how to explain this, so just listen and tell me if that communicates well.

I'm not impressed by their performance.

Everything about it is very professionally done, good quality sound and video, music is very polished, and the band is tight.

 

But...

 

The vocals ruin it for me. I can't understand much of anything the frontman is singing. He might as well sing in Hebrew because at least they will have the gimmick working for them (here's looking at you, Rammstein). I had to stop it by the time I got to the female vocals.

 

Unfortunately, thats not something that you can really change, and ultimately, others may not share my opinions. I'm sure a lot of people like the vocals, I just couldn't get into them... and I used to play in a band that got told by major labels, "great band, but your singer sucks."

TBH I've gotta agree with Carlito lol........ The instrumental started fine, but the singer sung like a dog howling with monotones.

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, as a native Hebrew speaker who knows English and lived for about 6 years in north America, I can definitely understand what you say.

 

That's a huge problem with Israeli performers. There are a lot of excellent musicians there, but most sing in Hebrew, which is... well... Greek to most and those who attempt English just can't do it convincingly enough.

 

There's definitely a communication problem there, and I can only hope that some day, they will find their way to international stages (except some heavy metal dudes who pass among the utter extreme fans [mostly in Germany...])

Hey there, indeed, I had to take a break for a while. Was away from the boards, but not from MMA or soccer.

 

Will definitely visit the EPL thread. and on that note, Ballotelli (or however it's spelled) - nice one for you guys
