Hey guys this is my second published article for the site indyposted.com. I was let in as an MMA/UFC/Sports writer. As many of you know, I love everything MMA. This latest article is regarding the latest sanction in Ontario, UFC revenue possibilities at Rogers Centre and the ongoing controversy surrounding our beloved sport. Enjoy!

There?s so much more to MMA than the outer shell that is so negatively portrayed by the media. I remember reading an article the other day on HuffingtonPost about a murder comitted by a one-time mixed martial artist. The fact of the matter is that the man in question, Jason Sindelar, has had one professional fight. Is it even necessary to report that he was once a mixed martial artist when he?s been in one professional bout? It?s reports like this that try to keep MMA hidden in the deep shadows of the macabre and taboo.

Hello,

Im happy that MMA is now legal. It is not a controversial decision in my opinion. I think that UFC is going to cross commercial interests of some other sports entertainment. Now, enough about that. I was indeed disgusted with the way CTV headlined the news about the MMA sanctioning decision. I quote: " Human ****fighting:

Is the MMA too dangerous?"

Human ****fighting? Thats on reality shows on MTV, but not UFC. But its not only about UFC, you watch other MMA competitions, where ladies fight, how do you headline that?

"***** Fighting:

Is it too dangerous?"

Would not that be insulting to female athletes? Why would they call MMA athletes **** fighters?

Montreal had 3 UFCs, right? Vancouver ( i was in the attendance) had 1, do the MMA fans from Toronto really want to be behind that much? So, when Montreal has 10, Vancouver has 5, Toronto will have its first one?

This whole argument is retarded and I can't believe it even exists. It's no more harmful than boxing, so what's the big deal?
