Jds shouldnt get title shot

The HW division is stacked, so many well rounded fighters who can do it all and not just depend on one fighting style. So for this reason i think this guy shouldnt even be top 5 in that division, the guy does bjj by the nog brothers...so what? when was the last time nog submitted someone? when have we seen JDS use ground skills?

 

If a guy cant breathe after 3 rounds against a fat guy who just came out of Burger King then he shouldnt be allowed to compete for a championship in the UFC. nuff said.

JDS is an amazing fighter and earned his title shot by KO after KO on many opponents. GTFO dude. I like Shogun just as much as you but your importantthreads name is WAY unfitting for the thread garbage you post.

Everybody should get the ttle shot.

You might have a point about JDS not having breathe and all that, but if he wants to step in the ring and get a title, let him. It let's the world know where he stands and where he stands against others.

Junior should not only be in line to fight Brock, he should be in front of Cain. Cigano has torn through the heavyweight division...seriously, torn it up. Who should be in front of Junior for a title shot?

 

Mir, who's coming off two loses back to back?

Nog, who's 2-1 in his last three fights with his only win being Randy?

Carwin, who just lost to Brock?

Kongo, who's been stopped by Mir and Cain in the last year?

Duffee, who just got KTFO?

Werdum, Sturve, CroCop, Yvel, Gabe, Roy - all of whom lost to Junior?

 

Cain at least can say he's had his title shot coming for a long time now...but who else other than JDS is there who's more deserving of a spot. Seriously, I am dying to know who you think should be in line for the belt after Cain/Lesnar...

listen, JDS was just another Carwin, tearing people up not going the distance, the ufc did the right thing to not throw JDS in so quick because once he goes to a championship fight he cant hang with the big dogs, we saw what happened to carwin. so what makes you think JDS is so different? JDS learned a lesson. you want to go against a guy like cain or brock you should better yourself and try not to get tired after the first round. and jds being in fron of cain? lol no cain is more well rounded has proven to be able to go 5 rounds against anybody. all cain fights have been extremely 1sided. jds has much to do.

 

like i said up there /\ JDS is just another Carwin, why not have them battle it out? wouldnt that be fair since we know both of these guys ko people first round and have no conditioning

first of all,JDS deserves it more than brock got his title shot.he beats known fighter in HW div so i guess its fair to put him for a title shot. second,jds has some heavy hands and i can say a good striker but i think not as good as cain,so i guess he'll stand up and bang and try to KO out his opponent than to submit,probably his ground skills is his 2nd option on his arsenal and we haven't seen him on his back in the ufc.and roy is a tough sob,so i guess punching a guy for the whole 3rds will really make you tired. if he's not part of the top 5 hw,then i guess you can suggest who are the top 5 hw.

WAY MORE. This clown saw Cain take out Big Nog and somehow thinks Cain is on another level. The guy couldn't drop Rothwell with 20 unanswered flush shots to the face......lol

 

JDS has fought big names from the get go, and crushed them all.

 

This isn't even a debate.

 

Stylistically, Cain and JDS would be a great matchup - as would Carwin/JDS. But as for who is deserved of a title shot? The OP has his head so far up his rectum he's eating leftovers......

Have you not been watching the UFC fights. You must not have. There is no else let for JDS to fight. If JDS hasn't earned a title shot, then fighters like Dan Hardy, Paul Daly shouldn't have had their chance either. JDS has knocked out Werdum (which defeated the Great Fedor, Not!), Struve, Cro Cop and Gonzaga. JDS has proven that he probably should have already had the title shot, but Cain is next and that's ok. Cain and JDS by the way would be one of the best fights ever. Hope that one happens.

It appeared to me that JDS was breathing just fine after 3 rounds. Maybe you are unaware of the ammount of punches he threw in 3 rounds???? Still, after throwing so many punches, he was breathing just fine.

 

JDS shouldn't have had to fight Roy Nelson to get a title shot. He deserved the shot more than Cain did.

One of the big problems is that he did have to fight Nelson for the title shot. This is just mis-handling the fighters if you ask me.. The man beats the likes of Cro Cop and Gonzaga, then has to fight the Hamburgler to get his title shot?? Give me a break. This is why everyone can't decide who the hell deserves a title shot, because of match-ups like this for he and Cain.

Cain fell in line before JDS..so what? Cain beat some decent fighters too and he was supposed to fight Carwin, Cain was in 100%, it just didn't work out. So all of you monkeys saying Cain don't deserve it know where you can stick your opinions. It is what it is DEAL WITH IT! ....

And the flaming begins in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.....
