MysticKJ
what do you guys think about Koscheck training with Daniel Cormier...do you think rolling around with a significantly larger and better wrestler (Cormier) will give Kos the wrestling edge against GSP? Daniel Cormier Bio i figure with this long layoff due to TUF...Kos has plenty of time to work on his wrestling...

acdoubleu
GSP out wrestled Kos in their first fight and since then he started practicing with the Canadian national team. Sucks for Kos that GSP didn't even wrestle until he started his mma career and is still better than him.

Future_Champ
lol' date=' i was told 10pm est...[/quote'] Thanks mate lol. I think GSP will atleast be able to keep it standing and I believe GSP to have a distinct advantage in the standup. That being said Koscheck probably has more power though we all forget the GSP that put away Sherk , Hieron , Hughes , BJ , and smashed Fitch to hell standing. I think both will have to work for their takedowns but besides power GSP has every advantage and I don't think this wretling training will help Koscheck very much, though lets hope Koscheck knocks GSP out

He'll try to take down KOS all 5 rounds like he always does. I like wrestling myself, but I think he uses it too much and his fights have been boring. I like GSP, but he has got to start opening up and going for some excitement. I'm sure he knows this. I hope KOS wins. CarwinDemoMan66
Koscheck got an explosive takedown on GSP in their first fight. Now he's more prepared.

KansasCityKing
GSP is a better wrestler and a better striker. Don't really see how he loses this fight. To be fair to Kos he probably is the biggest threat to GSP seeing as he actually tries to finish unlike Fitch.

Daniel Cormier Bio i figure with this long layoff due to TUF...Kos has plenty of time to work on his wrestling... Pretty impressive credentials and I'll say it can't hurt however keep in mind GSP is a freak athlete and blends his striking with his wrestling better than anyone in the game. That's the key to his wrestling being so sucessful you can't tell the difference it's seamless with his striking.
James_Moss
Yea I mean' date=' Why does Rampage stand so much!?!?!? HE SHOULD TAKE THEM DOWN?!?! Your point is heavily invalid.[/quote'] Have you not been watchin GSP fight lately. Believe me. I love wrestling and used to wrestle. But my goodness, this is MMA. Fans like to watch a little action. GSP has been fighting extremely safe as of late and his fights have been about the most boring than I have ever seen. I'm not picky at all. I have like every fight that I have watched, but if I was going to choose a boring fighter, right now it would be GSP. I'm not a GSP hater by any means, but he has been quite boring in his las few fights. Just playing it a little too safe. I'm sure he knows this. Epilogue1406051983
GSP and Kos are probably roughly the same in terms of skill when it comes to wrestling... but GSP trumps Kos in that he's just that much better of an athlete... GSP has killer strength and never gets tired... I honestly see this as nothing more than history repeating...

All Fail has ever done his entire career is out Wrestle people. GSP doesn't stay inside the guard all the time. And when he does, he postures up and tries to unleash actual vicious GnP. Fail never passes guard, evidence by him getting subbed by triangle, yet again. And he has a habit of burying his head into his opponents chest while unleashing love taps to his forehead and belly. GSP is boring, but Sonnen is not? Makes about as much sense as anything that failure James Toney has ever said.

He never lays on his opponent. The last few fights, GSP looks like he is actually sleeping all 5 rounds. Like I said, I love wrestling and am actually a Fan of GSP. But, my goodness, he has really been boring lately! SORRY! Oh, Chael out stiked AS the entire fight. Who has ever done that in the UFC? Thought I would just throw that in there. Sorry, I don't know why I am so pumped up tonight. I guess I need to watch some more Chael Sonnen fights!

UFCisGSP
props to Kos for working his wrestling and not only his mouth. Kos is a more natural wrestler, that is obvious, and this cannot hurt him. However, GSP is a better "MMA wrestler" than Kos, and has a SUPERB TDD. He is a better MMA fighter and should win this one too. and Fitch > Kos... I don't see how anyone can say otherwise...
vahJJ
Koscheck's takedowns are faster and more athletic, I think he'll win in the wrestling department, not sure about standup. Kos by TKO R3
