Man give the guy a break. It happens in MMA. He's never gotten hit like that before. It was his 6th fight. If he truly wants to succeed in MMA This will make him come back stronger.

+1,000,000 losses come to everyone!!! All the best fighters who have proven themselves and are battle tested have all lost.

Rather a beginner or a seasoned vet, you lose the battle or the war.

Example: Sonnen vs Silva, Silva only won the battle but lost most of the fight/war.

This here. And lets be real, the fight was stopped early. And if they were in the UFC Bobby would've won with elbows when he was in side control.

yeh just saw this myself....

I got a kick out of this:

"There is also talk from Scott Coker that Lashley needs to do some soul searching to determine if he wants to continue on in MMA, a rather odd thing for Scott to be saying following a guy's first loss."

^this

Bader, Dunham, Maynard, Hendricks, etc...all who haven't tasted defeat, i'm not totally sold on their drive and heart until i see what losing does to them.

Lesnar lost to Mir and then came back with more desire to show he can be in that cage.

Jon Jones, although a dominant performance against Hamill, has made it a point to finish his last 2 fights and fast, he is not messing around and his drive is in full force!

Bobby could have gotten seriously hurt, dude. HAd a brain anuerism or something. I know a guy in high school wrestling who got slammed a bit hard and ended up in a coma.

You are a moron, plain and simple. I'm sure Bobby makes way more "fake" fighting in pro-wrestling, but he chose to come to MMA and put his well being in greater jeopardy.

As soon as you do the same you can make fun of him. Let us know when your fight is.

Im sure he was pretty dehydrated' date=' looks like he has a huge weight cut. Needs to worry less about keeping his size up and worry more about his cardio. Guys that size cant fight for very long usually.[/quote']

I think he weighed in at 244. Not sure if the HW limit is 265 like the UFC. If so, then he didnt have to cut any weight. His problem is that he has WAY too much muscle.

What's up with these guys from Colorado not having any cardio first Carwin now Lashley doesn't make much sense to me. You would think living and training in high altitude would keep your cardio in check.

it's very strange, i see it more and more with heavy wrestlers to, Carwin, Evans has been gassing in the 3rd lately, Lashley tired worse then them all

did lashley retire?

i saw on wiki it said "loss (retirement)"

Some idiot keeps posting that cause the morons at Sherdog put that on their site. But it was corrected to TKO Strikes. Lashley has not retired.

Also i just heard that he was carried out on a stretcher due to dehydration not an injury
