I honestly don't care what country the fighters are from. The US v UK thing is just a way to hype fights imo. At least the US v Brazil is kinda a wrestling v BJJ (but not really cause Americans also practice BJJ and vice versa to a lesser extent). Fighters aren't fighting for their countries, they fight for themselves and their families (to make cash), the country shizz is all hype for the fans so that you can claim some kinda association with your favourite fighters or have an easy excuse for a foreigner you don't like...

The fact that you care so much about nationality just shows that you've got a bit of a superiority complex. There's nothing wrong with that, but it just makes you seem insecure when you start threads specifically to bash people with whom you cannot relate.

Just because you saw one fan saying something deluded, that makes all British fans stupid? What's wrong with wanting to support our fighters? I'm a fan of most of the British guys in the UFC, but I'm not going around preaching that they're gonna win the title. That shows better support than all the American fans who just "support" the champions. I mean what the hell was with UFC 117? Chael gets booed to **** when he walks out and then as soon as it becomes clear that he's winning the fight it's all "USA! USA! USA!" and "Sonnen! Sonnen!".

You may not like British fans, but people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Great post, i also like the fact that most of the brit haters bring up the Hendo/Bisping fight like that is the only time that a british fighter has fought an american, I don't hear a lot of brit posters talk about the domination that Hathaway put on Sanchez the same way americans talk about the Bisping hendo fight

Yeah the dbag was me pal, British fighters are evolving all the the time, possible future champs are definatly Ross Pearson, dan hardy now he's doing some wrestling training, and bisping will be middleweight champion in two/three fights time! I'd love to see all you haters face's when that happens!

TUF is about as important as the WNBA

No one here is denying that. Obviously someone from Britain has used TUF 9 to bait the guy who started this thread and now he's whining about it. It doesn't matter what your nationality is' date=' the logical thinkers among us know that TUF 9 was just a ploy to pull in some more British fans, and the fact that Brits won on the show doesn't mean that British MMA is stronger than American MMA.

Of course I'm supportive of British MMA, and I always will be. But to say Brits are better fighters than Americans just because of one season of a reality show is delusional.

? What's wnba?

Womens NBA.
