Is JDS the heavyweight version of T.Silva?

T.Silva has a much better ground game imho, and hes one of the bigger fighters in his division.

JDS has the undoubtable better striking between the two(although Silvas is very good) but lacks a ground game i think. Only time will tell if he can just KO his way to a title or if he'll get takendown and gassed.

Both have a very good chance to win the title in the future

They are both similar fighters with excellent standup but will probabley never be the champion in their division.

YOU JUST WAIT. What does JDS have to worry about? A Lesnar who curls into fetal position when being hit? A Carwin who beats himself via Gastank? A Velasquez who had trouble with Kongo?

JDS future HW champion and King

An arm triangle isn't the fetal position.

More like 2 guys with grappling and takedowns that far exceed anybody he has ever faced and one with enough power to derail a runaway freight train.

How do you come up with this?

I can assure you that Dos Santos' ground game is just fine. Good enough to hang with anyone in the HW division should they manage to get him down.

Junior Dos Santos WILL BE the Heavyweight ruler of the future. Will he win it in his first crack? That likely depends on who he has to face. I predict a victory over Velasquez, but I'm not so sure about Lesnar. Regardless, even if he loses to Brock in his first attempt, he will learn from that fight and make his way back to the top.. where he will stay for a very long time.

If his ground game was that good, he wouldn't practice avoiding going to the ground.

Why not?

You always want to be the best mixed martial artist than you can be. Why would you WANT to fight off your back, if you believe that your striking is better than the guy standing across from you? That would just be stupid.
