no because he almost never says anything everything is thru vladim a ambasador has to talk and be open with people

Fedor speaks very little english. Do you expect him to speak directly to the American public in Russian? You're holding the fact that he needs a translator against him? That's ridiculous.

His post fight interviews are proof of his class and so are his interviews outside the ring.

For me the only name who come to me is Couture and GSP .

U never gonna see this guys lie and make false accusation . They always talk great about there opponant and respect everyone in the sport .

Honorable mention to Evan Tanner R.I.P !

Definitely Fedor and Couture.

U never gonna see this guys grease and use roids. They never talk about how bad their opponent is and they respect everyone in the sport.

Honorable mention to BJ Penn for catching out the guys that are the opposite of Fedor/Randy.

No... But Randy and Florian are my top two' date=' I really like how Florian did the one question in Spanish for non English speakers, that really is a good image when you have a guy who is multilingual and well educated.[/quote']

James Toney is the gateway from boxing to mma as well as the link between the 2. Hes integrating the 2 sports, drawing tons of boxing fans.

Sadly' date=' you are wasting your time, his hatred of Fedor blinds him of all reason, and logic :P

On the plus side, at least he gave some props to Genki, so respect to him for that ;)

Oh, by the way, why are people still discussing this?

The clear candidate, and winner is Genki Sudo.

We are all one!

James Toney is great for the sport anyway whether he wins or loses. Drawing new fans into a sport is great.

But that doesn't mean he's really a good ambassador. He makes fighters look like a bunch of uneducated morons and that hurts MMA more than it helps it, he will never be a good ambassador because he is unprofessional and chooses to conduct himself like an idiot in public. Imagine if you were trying to have people invest in your company and you have a loud mouth idiot who refuses to act professionally as a company representative, who the hell is gonna invest in your company? Nobody because that looks terrible to the public.

bj penn.

the man leaves blood everywhere he goes. the licking it off his gloves helps too.

say what you want but casual fans want to see that stuff. they want it to be like two gladiators fighting to the death(not actually but you get the idea)

BJ is the man and id certainly prefer him over some idiot that wears $250,000 in jewelry to a press conference, but can't at least wear a nice suit with it.
