TheChemicals7
As if self-defense hadnt plagued us as bad as lay-n-pray, Machida's evasive dance of the octagon may become even more of a dance vs Rampage and onward. Shogun absolutly destroyed Machida like he has never been destroyed before. It was lights out for a fighter who was seen as the invincible dancing queen of the UFC. However now he is back and like GSP after being knocked out by Matt Serra... may be even more evasive and careful than before. How much more evasive can Machida be you ask? Enough that you will not enjoy Machida/Rampage. Just look at the styles. Rampage has has a tough chin and the ability to knock you out in one punch at any point in the fight. Machida does not want a repeat of Shogun 1&2 so being a naturally elusive fighter will likely be even more careful to clock in a win on his timecard. The prediction for who will win Machida/Rampage is not as important as the prediction of just how boring this fight will be. Harbringer
I am very much looking forward to this fight, I think it will be damn exciting. While your claim that Machida will henceforth be gun shy isn't too hard to imagine, it's still completely unfounded. Let's wait and watch him fight first before we decide to make claims like this... TheChemicals7
I'm sure Machida will be fine. the 2nd fight vs Shogun he attempted to be more agressive vs Shogun and ended up unconscious. I doubt agression will be in his arsenal come fight night.

It should be a very exciting fight

Machida counters the attack and if you dont do what he wants you to do, the fight goes to decision becuase he wont chance it. That is why he has so many decisions. TheChemicals7
awwwwww yeeeeahhhh Not alot of Agressive fighters below HW and that has to be agressive otherwise you could lose easy. Cain is agressive and so is Chael. Bj Penn snakes back and forth but he is ussually moving forward.

UfcIsWhereItsAt
Rampage does not present more of a danger then Shigun did. Shogun is a whole other beast. He's like a caculated killer. He's smart aggression. Rampage is very passive at times and is much slower then Shogun...he won't be able to keep up with Machida...Rampage at times comes plodding into the pocket too. Not good against Machida ...If course Rampage can catch Machida, but its highly unlikely if Machida comes prepared Also, Shogun has KO power too, more out cold knockouts then Rampage, and a much higher KO percentage then Rampage, is much faster then Rampage, and has greater timing as well
