ISHAK
Anyone else think Kampmann is going to upset Shields? Dana must not think so, because at the Montreal press conference he mentioned Shields should beat Kampmann. I am going with Kampmann as an upset. wingzero8717
I think Shield will win . But i just dont see Shield beat Fitch or GSP . I agree Shields will defeat Kampmann by UD, i dont think he will stop Martin. I believe that Jake Shields has all the ability and talent too beat GSP or Jon Fitch, I think Shields could submit either of them.

Antmanx
Shields to win UD' date=' and get title shot.. I want Martin to win tho [/quote'] Agreed... I want Kampman to win but I do not think he can stop Shield's TD's.
SirRender
I think Kampmann upsets Shields' debut. I find it amazing how many people don't respect Kampmann's TDD and ground game. If it goes to the ground look for Kampmann to submit Shields.

GTech
I just dont see Kampmann beating Shields but everytime I make a bet or prediction for Kampmann to lose the skinny little Dane surprises me again... But I may as well be consistent, Shields UD
Za_Xiong
I think Shield will win . But i just dont see Shield beat Fitch or GSP . I'm pretty sure he could beat Fitch. Jake Shields beated Fitch in a grappling match. If they fight I would put the edge on Shields. Once Jake Shields beat Kampman he HAS to fight Jon Fitch for contendership spot. joshdfs
The only way Kampmann upsets Shields is if he talks about his mom or tells him he has bad BO.
SirRender
hahaha no. Kampmann won't be submitting Shields unless he KO's him first and the ref doesn't see it. How little faith you have in the fact that in MMA anything can happen. I think Kampmann's jits is very underrated' date=' I remember the first time I saw him (forget vs who) he slapped on the fastest and nastiest looking arm triangle I had seen (granted I was still kinda green to MMA), ever since then I always root for Kampmann and I will in this fight too. Shields is dangerous, don't get me wrong, but I think Kampmann will be [i']very[/i] motivated and on-point for this fight. It's not going to be a walk in the park for either fighter. FoTN? ISHAK
Shield is overrated. Kampmann is going to upset him. Look who Shields has beaten..Most of them are the guys who stand up and wing their punches. Hendo doesn't have much technique, but if he lands its over. You put a good striker with wrestling skills against Shields and its over.
Riot_Act101
i hope the hitman breaks his jaw. i have nothing against grappling, but sheilds is the ground game equivilent of a stand up Kalib starnes. sorry, but i would not watch him fight if this fights is not exciting
Vulq
Any else actualy think that Dana said what he said at the press conference. Only to motivate Kampmann even more ? Whats more motivating, to have everyone say you will loose. When your sure you're going to win. Just a thought.

170lbking
I think its funny how many people are counting Kampmann out of this fight. I have Kampmann winning this fight. He will stuff the TDs and pick Shields apart standing. Kampmann by UD 29-28.

UFCCagerattler
Well, I am trying to picture KAmpmann in the cage with Dan Henderson, and that looks pretty bleak for him. Shields is going to be worse. He is a MW champion fighting at WW.

TheHorror
hahaha no. Kampmann won't be submitting Shields unless he KO's him first and the ref doesn't see it. Like mayhem couldn't? then almost choked sheilds out if not for the end of the round? if mayhem can do it kampann can. Shields BJJ is good but it's overrated. I want kampann to win but shields will probably lay on him for 3 rounds. Unless by some miracle he realizes that he isn't competing in wrestling anymore
uaquin
WHile I think Sheilds will get a UD, all Kampmann needs to do to win is keep the fight standing. Jake is for sure a top grappler his stand up is well, horrible. If he can't get Martin to the ground its not going to be a pretty debut for Shields in the UFC.
