"On November 14th, 2010 UFC President Dana White announced that Nelson's UFC career would be on hold due to Nelson being contractually bound to another fight promotion, White declined to specifically name the fight promotion, but sources close to "Big Country" confirmed that former boxing great Roy Jones Jr.'s Square Ring Promotions claims to have Nelson tied down."
