Yeah it was a joke of a fight... I was EXTREMELY disappointed with that fight and if Rashad does that against Shogun, he will get KTFO; unless Rashad uses his TD's better. But to your original statement, it was a horrible fight.

You do realize Rampage has is stronger and has better takedown defense then Rampage. Not saying its going to make a big difference but Im pretty sure GSP will be able to be more offensive against Shogun then he was against Rampage. Just saying.

and compare it to the crappy fights shogun had coming off knee surgeries against Coleman and Forest. Wait a second, Shogun has knee injuries now? So by your logic Shogun has no chance. IT comes down to styles makes fights. Sure the knee injuries had some effect on Shogun but Coleman even though he lost because he has no cardio, did well against Shogun because of his wrestling ability, if Rashad can do the same, he will win, also Rashad wont gas in 2 rounds of fighting like Coleman did, and Coleman has 0 standup skills. Shogun will have the striking advantage Rashad will have the Wrestling advantage, Shogun can get a submission but Rashad CAN get a KO as well if he connects flush. This fight can go ether way.

And let's compare that to ALL the sh*ty fights Rashad has had time and time again(Bisbing,Tito,Bonner,Sam Hoger,Forrest Griffin,Liddell, Rampage) LOL

 

 

It has nothing to do with wins and losses.

 

It's the simple fact that the Shogun and Machida fights showed about a 10000000x more skill and technique then the Rashad and Rampage fight or any sh*ty fight Rashad has had

 

Shogun has put on numerous greater skilled performances 1000x more impressive then any performance Rashad has ever put on.

 

P.s Machida had a tough time breaking through Shogun's defense.

 

I doubt the much slower and less talented striker Rashad will have that much more success.

 

If Rashad lands flush Shogun has a granite chin to boot. Shogun has only ever been dropped once his career and has never been knocked out.

 

If/when Shogun lands flush Rashad's glass chin will shatter lol
