What do/did you run your 40 yd. dash in??

I ran mine in 4.92 at the beginning of summer and we are testing tomorrow and I should get a faster time then I did then...

Although maybe not because of the surgery I had back in August.

You should train for the "special" Olympics. ;)

j/k.

I'll behave.

Yeah Haven't done it since highschool either. I want to say the best I did was 4.67 but I think I'm overshooting it. It was more than likely 4.87 or .97. That was ten years ago though I'd be surprised if I could break 6 now. I used to have a 39 inch vertical though.

39 inch verticle is impressive. I am 5' 7". I had nearly a 4 foot verticle. I could grap a ten foot basketball rim with both hands but I was never able to do a dunk. My hands were too small to palm the basketball.

Yeah that's real good at 5'7". I'm 5'10 -5'11 and I can only palm a ball with my right hand and I'm left handed so I've pulled of dunks on fast breaks and with two hands but I've also knocked the wind out of myself going for dunks and falling flat on my back when I should have laid it up. Again though those days are a thing of the past now.

Yeah, those days are long gone. I still have good hiking legs though hehe... I do a lot of hiking on my fishing trips.

Hiking's great, totally underrated as far as exercise goes. An hour goes by life nothing. I jacked my knee up about a year ago and can hardly squat without pain but for some reason hiking gives me no problems.

No joke there. I've run from the cops a couple of times and learned that (just like in a scary movie) you only have to be faster than the people you're with. Being a good climber helps too.

If it weren't for my fishing and hiking, I would be badly out of shape.

Hope your knees heal up completely because if it doesn't, you are going to have major problems when you get older.

Chances are I'll need surgery eventually but I'm putting it off until it's a must. The doctor said I have an unusually high threshold for pain and if I can get by without the surgery then there's no reason to rush into it. It just sucks because I've always liked working out my legs and I have to be so careful not to damage worse by pushing it too hard.
