ForcexrecoN
Let's take a look... shall we? Warning: GSP & Silva fans beware. You may flame me. Heavyweight Meh. Other than the top 5 not much is going on here. Light Heavyweight LHW has been argued for awhile that it has been the deepest Div. in the UFC. Let's keep looking though, let's wake your swirling little mind up. Middleweight Like HW except with more talent, it's just the talent gap in between guys is VAST. The Gap between Upper Level and Middle Level is wide enough to be mistaken for Jenna's cat.
ForcexrecoN
Welterweight Now, all the GSP fans are probably creaming themselves because I had to scroll so far back in order to fit all the names in. Unfortunately, the talent gap is wider here then at MW. Lightweight Winner! Winner! We have a Winner! Not only did I have to put two SS's together to fit all the names in; the recent WEC merger has put the LW division on Steroids. If you think LHW is still the deepest division then you are living in the past. LW is where its at atm. Featherweight This has a talent gap problem, but only with one person "Jose Aldo". This monster runs this division with an iron fist (like a mini-silva, w/o lack luster performances. Or a GSP who can finish) Bantamweight Keep an eye out for this division's champ! As he lost to Faber before and Faber just entered this class with a great debut fight.
SparkFire
LHW for me, with machida taking a step back for the title i can see Jon Jones taking a step forward
ForcexrecoN
LHW for me' date=' with machida taking a step back for the title i can see Jon Jones taking a step forward [/quote'] LW is deeper. LHW has only 5-7 relevant guys. LW has 10+

ForcexrecoN
The 3 widest Talent gaps in each division are GSP to WW A. Silva to MW Aldo to FW
Jbrahams
the WEC merger kicked LW into Ultra Gear with the addition of Varner' date=' bendo, cerrone, Shalorus, pettis ext[/quote'] yeah definitely, but I also think with Penn leaving opened a lot more opportunities for more talent, Edgar seems more "beatable" than Penn is that makes sense so the title fights will be more interesting in my opinon, even though Penn against some of those WEC guys would be great

button_man
its gotta be ww and lw.it has more deep and active talents.
McBottery
The top of the LHW division is way more competetive imo, with way more interesting fights and less people in the mix solely because of their wrestling.
LW4MMA
LHW is the deepest most exciting, unpredictable divsion/title picture right now, and I say this a huge fan of the LW division (look at my name!) Shogun, Evans, Rampage, Machida, Franklin, Forrest, Couture, T. Silva, Jones, Davis, Bader, Hamill... Mix up those names and you have the most unpredictable top 10 divsion. Example: Shogun>Machida>Evans>Rampage>Machida>Evans>Forrest>Rampage Whereas LW has lost a lot of talent: Penn, Diego, Nate Diaz all moved up to WW and all look better at WW, and you know the smaller LW's will move to the UFC FW division in a month. I'm going to get a lot of heat for this.... but... The bold is sub-par talent. Nate Diaz has possibly the worst striking in the UFC (yes, Brock's is even better). Hamill has great wrestling but terrible striking, he gases early too. Diego Sanchez is an exciting fighter but his talent has been at a degrade, atm he's just a big name on the fence. But look at LHW's future -> Vermola, Jones, Davis, Bader Look at LW's -> Barbosa, Oliveira, Bendo, Shalorus, Pettis, G-Sot LW has the younger talent gain atm.
