JP24
I understand a lot of you may wonder why I would think of a matchup like this, and some of you may say that Machida is Leagues ahead of Hamill... Well I disagree... Machida may have an elusive style, but it seems that putting pressure on him is the best way to win. Hamill is a very strong guy who, in my opinion, is fully able to take him down and beat on him. Everyone figured out Machida thanks to the leading defeat by Shogun, and now Rampage went through Machida. He applied pressure and defeated him. Matt Hamill's hands may not be as good, but his wrestling is nothing to count out. This fight is obviously a big step up or Matt Hamill, and a deserved step down for Machida, but I think this has the makings of a great fight... Matt Hamill has been trying to work his way up, and if he pulled a win from Machida, that would plummet him into title contention. Who would win? zykllonp
That fight wouldnt be a question of who wins, its a question of how machida does it. Hammill is leagues beneath Machida. I dont know how anyone would pick Hammill. lol Rampage went through machida yea right. that fight was joke...

The idea is to have a build-back-up-fight for Machida, but Hamill would give him a fight... It also depends on what Machida shows up.
StephenColbert
it should be Rampage vs. Hamill.

I still think Machida will fight an "easy" fight next with some of those guys: Randy, Hamill, Ortiz 2, etc .. I believe Dana will "help" Machidas confidence somehow
Pro_Boxer
I actually see what you are saying. Machida is a way better fighter but it may be a bad style matchup for.him. if hamill could get his.hands on him and that is a big if he could pull it off. If not machida would kick the crap out of him. But like I said that is a big if. I don't remember anyone being able to take machida down at will and definitely not control him .
