As much as i like Anderson and respect him he is the one being biased because Machida is his friend... Rampage won the first 2 rounds it's simple as that.

60% Shogun Fans

30% Rampage Fans

5% Dumb Fans

I understand WHY Rampage won.

That said, I had it 29-28 Lyoto. The takedown in the second round is what won Rampage that round.

He's wrong about the fight. Rampage won.

 

I can see how rampage took the decision, but honestly i think both sides have a good arguement either way.

 

My personal opinion is that rampage took the decision because of the scoring system, but Machida DEFINITELY won the fight if it was being scored as a whole.

Even Rampage knows he lost that fight, EVEN JOE ROGAN THAT WASN'T CONTACTED BY DANA IMMEDIATELLY AFTER THE FIGHT THOUGHT THERE SHOULD BE A REMATCH ! "Well, you want a rematch, the fans want a rematch, I wan't a rematch, I think we got a rematch here folks." or something like this.

 

Dana is crazy for Shogun vs Rampage 2, because he knows Lyoto can't sell events, he doesn't give a **** about Lyoto and what people think, the money is speaking higher right now.

First of all I'd like to say that fight was crap.

I actually had it scored a draw with Loyoto scoring a 10/8 round 3, but would not have flinched if Machida had won a split either.

Too bad there is another loss on Loyoto's record, (one that should have been there a year ago), as he is clearly the better fighter and this should have been no contest if he had opened up earlier.

That is a widely held point of view in MMA.

 

Most Brazilians probably agree with him.
