Pessimist_Pete
Sorry Jones fan boys, but its true. The hype train will derail soon. If Bader doesn't KO him, Rampage or Shogun will do it.

Frankyboyy
Well John Jones is good and the only way to see how good he is will be his next fight. He does have potential tought. unfortunately after that fight if he wins Bader will be called a fraud and if Bader wins people will say Jones was over hyped and was not on Baders level

Zack6
im a big fan of jones. I see his next couple of fights going like this he will get past bader but it will be a tough fight i don't see either guy dominating it. jones will then fight a top contender he will either lose here or he will make it past them. but i do see him losing one of his upcoming fights he'll drop back fight lesser competition for a few fight then he will make his rise. If he doesn't come back from the lose strong and a true top guy then i don't see him ever becoming one of the top guys.

CaZz3000
i think Bones outclasses Vera majorly in terms of wrestling and ground'n'pound (but we all know that) if you're just referring to hype in general, perhaps all i can say is i am rather excited for the Bader fight x

NickTF
It's a big possibility. They've hyped the chit out of him and Bader and the fight between them will not prove anything in my opinion except which is more deserving of the hype. I see Jones winning but still won't be sure how he will do gainst top of the division
fredshaulage
He hasnt fought anyone other than Vera' date=' who sucks.[/quote'] Hence the term "hype train" But this kid came in with no tools other than dominant Wrestling and is learning quickly. He is legit and unlike Vera has a solid mind and a camp who will keep it there. Vera is a flake and that's his downfall, not a lack of talent. Slam_Man
Jon Jones looks like he trains harder then Vera ever did. Vera always had great technique obviously but he didn't look like he put much time and effort into his strength and conditioning.

Rumble170cHAMP
you have it wrong it should actually read Jon Jones of 3 years ago is better then Brandon Vera will ever be today. Jon Jones is your next LHW cHAMP. Theres no logical reasoning for Bader to win at all. Rampage can get taken down and destroyed or bones reach will prove too much. and Bones against shogun would be the retirement party for Ol' Bum Knees War Jones. The train will not derail but only accelerate. I suggest you buy a round trip ticket and enjoy the view.
Epilogue1406051983
the only thing I see derailing Jones is either Machida by a very close UD/SD win or Jones missing weight and having to get bumped up to HW...

He'll have to move up eventually with his frame. Hopefully he'll go the Overeem route if that happens and bulk up some. (Insert Ubereem steroid joke here). A singular purpose and focus you don't see often. He's not worried about his post fight career like lot of today's fighters. He'll pound out all 3 of those guys.
