Wikipedia a guilty pleasure?

Now many of you will say it's fake you can write anything on there and say its a "noob" thing to do but I have to admit I do go on Wikipedia a lot to look up MMA fighters fight record because it's quick and simple and usually right, you can tell when there is fake info.

 

I am sure I am not the only one on here that uses Wikipedia to look up fighters records

I use it and its almost always accurate. If somthing seems questionable on there I just click on the source, and if theres no source then I write it off as fake right away

I use it all the time. It's accurate, people who say it isn't don't know what they're talking about.

 

I tried to troll it and change certain info, within 20 seconds it was back to normal and I was threatended with an IP ban.

It's great for checking records (along with the Sherdog Fight Finder) and great for seeing upcoming MMA (especially UFC) card lineups before they're officially put up on that promotion's website.

I think it's way quicker then Sherdog, you just type in the name and it comes up, and I usually go on MMAJunkie to look at upcoming events, sometimes people randomly post random fights on upcoming cards lol
