TheSquizz
I mean not with the pride rules but the ring instead of the cage and the pride logo and gloves with pride fighters. Kinda like how wwe did a while back with the ECW brand. I mean I think it would be a cool idea.

TheSquizz
Doesn't build ufc brand = doesn't happen Thats why instead of it being called pride it can be called UFC:return of pride or something like that.
silentson
Thats why instead of it being called pride it can be called UFC:return of pride or something like that. Its more about unified mma rules/ sanctioning fights and such.
TheSquizz
Its more about unified mma rules/ sanctioning fights and such. DURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Riot_Act101
while i agree that it is a nice though, it just wouldnt be the same.....if you miss pride, i suggest watching DREAM....but it would be awesome

The only fighters I feel worth watching are Gegard, Sandro, and sometimes miller.
Coltrane
fighting in a ring and fighting in a cage takes a very different skill set. wrestlers can't pin people up against the cage, they would just fall out of the ring and would be reset in the middle of the ring. Jbrahams
it would be nice, but not gonna happen, if they had a card that had all Pride fighters (if that can make up a card) then I doubt they will refer it to pride they might have something referencing but I doubt it will ever happen
Juzie
while i agree that it is a nice though' date=' it just wouldnt be the same.....if you miss pride, i suggest watching DREAM....but it would be awesome[/quote']Sengoku and Pancrase etc ruleset is more like Pride than Dream, Dream just uses the same presentation. The fighters had a big part to do with how good Pride was.
godinski
....in Tokio this would be income of 5 to 6 million $ in total including the advertisement ?in Las Vegas probably around 3,5 million $ ?in Europe around 2 million $ And yes this will not grow UFC brand but this would make HUGE CREDIBILITY FOR UFC THRU ALL MMA COMMUNITY and on the long run everyone who is doing money by marketing communication and brand issue knows that CREDIBILITY is a pillar of every brand recognition. Thanks very much. p.s. I would love to organize this.

raoullduke
i think they should do something with the pride name in japan. the japanese market isn't being propperly exploited. they shoud be having an event there at least four times a year. and they should use the pride name in some way. events in japan could all be called UFC-Pride and they could start numbering them UFC-Pride 1 etc. it would have to be with the unified rules though and i see no beneifit to using a ring. i'd like to see some of crazier stuff from pride though open weight tournaments and so on.
