Will GSP unleash at UFC 124?

I expect 5 rounds of sweaty furious humping. Gsp has some pent up frustrations all right and he is going to take them on by putting Kos on his back having his way with him for 25 minutes.

Gsp is all likelihood will win another ud.

Unless fans get a treat and Kos knocks Safe Pierre out.

I have a huge feeling this won't be a decision fight. Seeing as GSP took alot of crap from Kos on TUF this season and GSP is just kept it. I think he will make an example of Kos (submission? TKO?) and go ape sh*t on him and if not' date=' another dominating performance by decision.[/quote']

Safe Pierre making an example of somebody when he choses to fight safe and likes to dryhump his opponent..... ???

More like Safe Pierre cant remember how to finish...

I have a good feeling there will be a finish to this fight and it will come via Kos KO...

And Safe Pierre leaving in the back of an Ambulance and sending all Canadians and Safe Pierre fanboys in a deep state of depression.

GSP and Kos are both great wrestlers which leads me to believe that this will NOT be a lay 'n' pray fest. Lay and pray usually only happens in striker vs wrestler matches because the striker normally can't defend the takedowns, and since they are both great wrestlers this is something that won't worry them so much.

One thing I have to say about GSP, is the dude is an extremely intelligent fighter and great athlete. If he is going in against another great wrestler, he is going to find a new and hopefully surprising strategy to gain the upper hand. I expect him to train stand-up like there's no tomorrow. He may not take him out, but I don't think he wants to risk a lay'n pray win. Look for him to try to out point on the feet. Not get caught, not go for a KO, just stick and move.

St. Pierre is an adequate fighter besides his world-class wrestling... He has flashy kicks and punches, but they are rather pillowfisted and he doesn't use his own striking against other strikers because he's smart enough to realize it won't help him, and he might get Matt Serra'd again. His submissions are adequate as well... He's like a blue belt in BJJ and we never see him go for submissions and succeed with them anymore... He couldn't quite get Dan Hardy with that Armbar either.

He will WRESTLE Josh Koscheck to a lopsided victory as always, and will remain the champion.

See, while I disagree, that is at least a somewhat respectable opinion.

To the people who repeatedly come in here and disrespect him as a way to entertain yourselves: you look like an idiot.

I am a big GSP fan, and will definitely agree that he fights safe. That being said, he is one of the best out there and gets better every time and I am expecting a nice turn of events this fight with GSP winning via TKO or sub in the 3rd or 4th.

Everyone fights 'safe'.

Anderson Silva fights 'safe' when he refuses to jump into guard.

Chuck Liddell used to fight 'safe' when he defended takedowns.

This 'safe' fighting can be applied to almost any mixed martial artist out there.

If people weren't so stupid, they'd realize that it's not SAFE fighting.. it's SMART fighting.

Why people don't understand this blows my mind. People yelled at GSP for taking Hardy down but funny how no one complained when Silva didn't go to the mat with Maia. Now before some moron responds, "Oh but fights on the feet are so much more exciting" go watch Sylvia vs. Arlovski III and come back to me. Here's a hint: drink a Red Bull before, otherwise you'll wake up and it'll be over.

I think GSP has really kept everything inside and is going to dish out a beat down at UFC 124. Koscheck is so bent on thinking he is going to knock GSP out on the feet because he has a few knockout victories on his resume in Hazelett, Yoshida and Trigg - yet which one of these guys have good chins? His performance against Johnson was impressive, but there's just so much controversy in that fight.

There's a reason why GSP hasn't finished all his opponents lately - because Fitch and Alves are some of the best welterweights in the world. And yes, don't call me a GSP fanboy, I think he should have finished Hardy.

Bottom line is that I predict after UFC 124 we'll have the answer to a very important question: which picks up dust better, a Swiffer sweeper or Koscheck's hair?

I'm pretty positive GSP will finish him. I'm guessing in rounds 3-5 he will probably TKO Koscheck. I think it will be later in the fight because Koscheck is going to be a lot tougher than people are giving him credit for.

GSP is going to out-wrestle Koscheck, and eventually mentally defeat him inside the cage. Then I think a TKO or submission will be inevitable.

or cos dana just likes to see kos suffer for being a little ***** when he fights

well that too but think about it, the added pressure of having to fight infront of the home fans that want to see blood after what he said at 113.

you really think they would be happy with a decision?

Unleash the grease more like.

Hello, Shin. :)

Why don't you just come out of the closet and admit your love for GSP and how you secretly wish he was laying on top of you instead of how he's going to be laying on top of Kos next month?

No, GSP will dismantle Kos. Kos' corner will be throwing in the towel by the end of the fourth round.

You talk more about Phil Nurse and GSP than anyone I've ever seen. I bet you drift off to sleep thinking of those two, having warm thoughts and snuggling yourself.
