Is it true that white guys only got into rap because of Em? But check out Edan' date=' my favorite white rapper

[/quote']

I got into rapping because of Linkin Park. I must be the only Linkin Park fan who didn't use it as a gateway band into Metal.

This song has some illin' rhymes.

i'm a white guy, i used to rap alot, still write but don't record & i never really listened to eminem, he was never near my top 10 & kind of became a joke to me

he started off raw & gritty, i liked the serious side of his rhyme, then he became a ****ing joke & made some of the wackest rap i've heard, but now he is bringing it back after the addiction & is heading in the right direction, but i still don't listen to him like i used to

:(....what is classic to you?

is jay z and old em classic?

Well, it depends on the person...

But when I say "newer rap", I'm speaking about the newer rap, that's playing on the radio now, or anything that sounds like it.

Jay-Z's "Reasonable Doubt" is good, and Eminem's first couple of albums is good. 2pac is good, and so is Notorious.

I don't hate on everything. But Marshal Mathers is overrated.

He can't hold a candle to NAS' date=' Jigga, Mos, etc[/quote']

You were hating on a lot until I read why you were hating on the other thread I thought you were just blindly hating so my bad on that.

But honestly...NAS is not better than Eminem neither is Mos.

Jay z is the only one even on the same level as Em.

Tupac and Em are the best two rappers there have ever been.
