Matt Hughes (I think he was already champ when he beat sean sherk but still) GSP (I'm pretty sure he went on to become champ and still is) Bj Penn (was already champ and went on to defend the belt two more times) Frankie Edgar (Went on to win another fight than beat at the time the best lighweight in the world and he still holds the belt) People that don't beat him end up not becoming champ ex.
