RedPowerRangerP4PBest
After watching his fight last night I wounder why people say Nick has a good stand up...and it's not only in this fight but all he sucks and would get KTFO. khazaljj
He checked almost all of the leg kicks thrown, I don't know why people where saying that he was in trouble. Plus Nick Diaz is quite stubborn. If he learns to be a bit more diverse in his techniques in a fight then he could win alot easier. For example, Cyborg is a Muay Thai specialist, what's the point of just boxing with him?! And even then his boxing was outstriking Cyborg's strikes. He was waiting for him to strike himself out and get tired, which happened, which is why Cyborg went for a takedown, which is the reason for maybe the quickest armbar of a black belt by a black belt in MMA. I don't like Nick, but he's a good fighter.

DKF
It's funny I think he is top 5 in the division, but I saw him failing to check and getting clobbered by leg kicks, and the only thing I could think of last night was lololol Thiago Alves would kick the lower half of his left leg into the 3rd row. Then Nick could talk about how he is the best while he hops around on one foot.
Future_Champ
Funny you guys keep mentioning Alves when what came to my mind was how Paul Daley is going to knock Nick Diaz out... You know the fight that is actually going to happen?
jamamaw
Thing is if his stand up fails, his ground game is amazing. I see that being a factor in a fight with lets say, dan hardy.

jamamaw
i don't see daley beating diaz. I think it would end up on the ground with a sub.
serb-1
and santos looks like the prime example of someone getting their BJJ black belt out of their cereal box or nearest mcdojo... i mean come on what was he doing, can't have been THAT gassed

Na, Daley has good TDD, and I haven't been impressed with Nick's wrestling unless he did something amazing last night because I missed it.
CorporalClegg
condit' date='hardy and alves will knock him out.[/quote'] lol Condit and Hardy would get raped by Diaz. Alves is the only one of the three that would stand a chance. Dan Hardy is borderline can. The only guys inside the UFC he's knocked out Nate Diaz also knocked out in the first round after moving up in weight. Hardy barely beat Davis and Swick and Davis is old and Swick just sucks. ForrestGriffinFan101
While I respect your opinion' date=' I believe it is wrong.[/quote'] In a regular ranking system, I would agree with you. However, this is my who-would-beat-who ranking system. I believe Diaz beats everyone with the exception of GSP. His striking and jits are incredible. If only he had wrestling. LT_BJJ
Nick Diaz is the #2 WW More like 7th or 8th lol. The Diaz brothers have a bad track record against judokas and wrestlers, and who runs the 170 pound division? Those guys.

LT_BJJ
Nick hasn't lost to a wrestler almost 5 years. He also hasn't faced a wrestler in 5 years...he's lost to all the great judokas and wrestlers he's faced. Sanchez, Parisyan, Sherk, etc. I don't consider Gomi a wrestler either btw. Shamrock is now retired and Sakurai will be soon. Inoue is a 155 pounder (much like KJ Noons) and Tibau? He's got decent wrestling, but he's a bjj guy if anything. Karo who was seemingly unstoppable (besides his loss to GSP) at the time. Diego Sanchez who went on to end his streak at 17-0. Sean Sherk has beat everyone he's fought except for four champs/former champs.
