MachidaFanatic
How important is avenging a loss in the mma world? If a fighter loses to another, can we assume that fighter will win everyone time if the win hasnt been avenged. Or if a fighter lost but hasnt fought them in 5 years and went on to become the p4p greatest fighter in the world, should those losses still matter. Also, do you have to avenge a loss that you were disqualified for. Discuss, hopefully i can reference this the next time some GSP fan says Anderson's record is worse because he got tapped 5+ years ago. But please, answer as if it were just some random fighter, leave your hatred of anderson or gsp from making your decision.
Tweak
I don't think avenging a loss is neseccary. I also don't like rematches. In Anderson's case avenging his losses now would not make any sense. Besides the Okami "loss".
MachidaFanatic
i'd have to agree. i just felt necessary to make a thread about it because i hate running in circles with gsp fans when they start talking about records. hopefully when it is put bluntly without naming names people will see how dumb it is to suggest those losses matter.
