Should The World Continue Using Nuclear Energy?

For now yes, but there are many things being researched on the near horizon that will make the the public energy grid all but unnecessary with in 20 years. Consumer priced solar and wind energy along with affordable water collection systems are gaining in popularity. Write this down and keep track, with in 20 years most of the populace (my guess is in excess of 85%) that lives in suburbs and outlying areas will not need the public energy grid. The only people that will actually need it will live in major cities and the most viable and sustainable energy source for that as of now is nuclear fission. There is also much research going into room temperature superconducting compounds. If those come to fruition countries will be able to supply all of there current (no pun intended) energy needs with just one percent of the modern grids that are in place.
