CaptainSuperman
I doubt we'll see him fight winner of Rampage/Hamill, maybe loser though. My best guesses are Griffin or possibly winner of Lyoto/Couture. Unless they are pushing Couture for a title shot.

amunera
my guess would be forrest and winner of forrest/rua to face winner of Hammil/Page for the itle shot. or the winner of forrest/rua to face machida (in case he wins) (not for a title shot) because if Randy wins it wouldn't sourprise me if he gets the tile shot. It's all gonna depend on who wins and how they win in the Rampage/Hamill fight, as well as the Machida/Randy fight. They aren't gonna have these guys fight, THEN have them fight Shogun to see a # 1 contender, it would take too long. And being past champ means nothing when you get decimated inside three rounds. He didn't even look like he came prepared for that fight. Brock got a rematch cause he and Dana are butt buddies. And BJ got a rematch simply cause the fight was controversial. Machida didn't get an instant shot at redemption. He got KTFO'd then a fight with Rampage. And 'Page still ain't getting a shot, so that should tell you what little ramifications that fight had. Same goes for Shogun here. His performance against Bones was the same as Machida's against him.

Winning one fight should not get you a title shot, especially ahead of Ramapage should he win his fight with Hamill. Rampage would be on a 2 fight winning streak, and having fought 2 former champs in his last 3. Now think about this, after Lyoto dropped the title, he fought Rampage, and Rampage didn't get a shot. I have little doubt that Lyoto would have gotten a shot after that fight if he would have won. Shogun is in that same boat right now. Just dropping the title, and possibly facing a top contender. As far as a title shot goes, I'm still thinking winner of Rampage/Hamill. They've been trying to give Rampage a title shot for a while now, but he keeps declining. And introducing Hamill to be a top threat wouldn't be a bad thing, this isn't WWE and there isn't a 'set' group of top stars/contenders. He is 4/5 in his last five, unless you really count the Bones loss as a win. The only people left for Shogun are loser of Hamill/Rampage, or someone out of the Lyoto/Randy fight, or Griffin, as it's something the UFC can sell.
