agree.

Testosterone Replacement Therapy... my ***. The only people believing this horse**** are the desperate haters or fanboys' date=' whatever reason, enjoy supporting your blatant cheater-fighters.[/quote']

I basically agree. Why are there sooo many people buying Nate's story? Wouldn't it be an incredible coincidence that all these baseball players, football players, pro wrestlers, fighters, etc.. all have these odd medical conditions..like abnormally low testosterone levels? That require them to take this stuff. I mean this isn't the first time Nate's been caught up in this drama, just go all natural man!

In that case then we should stop watching professional sports all together. Nowadays, you have to assume that every top level athlete in his or her respective sport is using some sort of PE.

Athletes are treating their bodies like machines nowadays and will go to any length to get the advantage. Nutritionists, strenth/conditioning specialists, sports psychologists, etc, etc.

And they're willing to put anything in their bodies to get that edge. Every supplement under the sun that is put in front of them and guess what else... PED's too. If they think they can get away with, they'll do it and worry about the consequences later. Haven't you wondered why no one is setting homerun records anymore? No more juicing.

It's just part of professional sports today.

So' date=' how can you be 100% sure none of the guys caught did actually have low testosterone? Sure some guys are cheaters but there is going to be at least one guy here and there that's accused of cheating when he has a legit reason.[/quote']

In the case of guys who have taken steriods, the steroids are the reason for low testosterone levels.

Steroids are basically synthetic testosterone. When you put that stuff in you, your body senses a external source of the hormone and stops making it's own. Do it for long enough and too much of it and your body will never produce natural levels ever again.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but has Nate been busted for PED use in the past?

"I was lethargic and moody", so I went on an agressive testosterone program only weeks before the fight... the bloke is selling buffalo excrement by the tonne....

And yes kachucks, he was done for Nandrolone in the Salavery fight... probably because "his facial hair wasnt as thick as he would have liked it to be"

After years and years of cutting weight your body will generally stop producing certain normal body chemicals... of of those is Testosterone. The T glands in you brain get damaged from a combination of repeated severe dehydration, intense heat exposure (from saunas) amungst other "cutting" practices here. The real villian in this situation is fighters trying to "fight at their natural weight" in other words guys who weigh 200lb or so making 185 or even lighter. Thats **** damages your body over time.

As far as PEDs go Leagalize that crap. The fighters know the long term effects so if they wanna use them why not.

Exactly.

His reasoning of:

I was feeling lethargic and moody, therefore, I took on an aggressive testosterone program as a solution.

If anyone buys this type of thinking, not only are you not on the same wavelength as what is normal for a person who believes in fair competition, but you aren't even in the same planet. We just will not see eye to eye on that subject.

Saying that he did not disclose this information ahead of time. Perhaps he did have a "condition", but he had plenty of opportunities to disclose said information and he still failed to do this. That's not the responsible act of a professional. Anyone is allowed to believe what they wish, however, he gets no sympathy from me. None.

If you have low testosterone, I say tuff ****!

I don't believe it's some inherint right to have test levels at the maximum possible range. So, if the norm is 400-900 say, why should a guy who is at 250 naturally, be allowed to boost to make 900, while the guy who is naturally 400 be told he doesn't qualify and is not allowed any "therapy"?

C'mon, this is a joke.

They should ban this practice all together for athletes.

Well while i think Thiago shouldve not done it and just came clean, i can understand his reasoning. He has had chronic back problems and fighting is his income source. Hopefully he can get his back fixed up during his suspension so we can all witness the beast's comeback

I do not agree with legalizing PEDs but what you said about weight cutting is true. A lot of wrestlers get it after years and years of weight cutting. Guys like Couture, Hendo and Sonnen have been cutting weight since they were kids. Plus outside of Sonnen, Hendo and Couture never pissed high which means they are using it correctly as the doctor has said. TRT is not to give you **** ton of Testosterone, its to bring you up to normal levels. If you are pissing higher then normal then you are using it incorrectly.

However Marquadt never wrestled at any level so his low testosterone is not caused by weightcutting. One way it could have been caused is from years of steroid abuse which has caused his body to stop producing testosterone because it is expecting to get it from somewhere else. Two years ago Nate looked like he weighed 215 and now he's not even 200? Okay....
