Yeah I started watching the race in the 90s. It's the only cycling race I'm interested in. I love watching them race for thousands of kilometres then attack each other in the mountains. The pain they go through is palpable. It pisses me off Cadel's rivals always have the strongest teams and this really conspires against him. It will be so awesome if this year when the Schleck brothers, Sastre and Contador attack, Cadel responds and burns the whole lot of them off his back wheel up the mountains...

Cadel won the stage despite some mechanical issues with his bike during the stage. The PED take Contador nearly got him on the line and acted like he hid. ****in' PED takers. This is gonna be Cadel's year.

I hope not, everytime I see his face I puke in my mouth a little bit. The guy is really quite digusting to look at, like a gremlin with distemper.

You act like Alberto is the only guy taking PED's, when he is the only one (sort of) caught.

Is that how I come across? I want to put out the vibe that I think everyone is on PEDs except Cadel Evans. Oh.. and George Hincapie. He did good yesterday. Really good.

Thor was my guy for the day. But 16 TDF's is quite an achievement.

I'm English, but still lol at Bradly Wiggens saying he has a chance.

Yes it was another great ride from the yellow jersey. I respected his tenacity for a moment then remembered that his name isn't Cadel Evans so he must be a no good PED taking mother ****er lol

I am thinking Evans is related to Faber, they both have arses where their chins should be. Maybe Evans hides his clenbuterol in hise face-****-crack.

You should show some respect for the guy who is going to win the 2011 Tour de France...

Image transcript:

Contador: I'm such a dirty PED boy I even celebrate like I won when I finish second.

Evans: Look at the grubby PED piece of ****. I'm going to break this **** this year and it all started today beating his punk PED ***.

I think they passed him the wrong water bottle...

I'm thinking about flying to France and attacking Contador road side. I just can't decide between pushing a boulder onto the track like someone did to **** Johnson at Bathurst that year or just running alongside of him for a bit up the mountains discussing his mother's sex life before throwing a cup of urine in his face...

Sticks in his spokes while he is going around 60km/hr shall do the trick...

Love it ....

Its all about Team-Sky and Mr.Cavendish :)

How many stages will Cavendish win this year? Didn't he win like 5 last year? Very impressive. But it ain't all about him bro. If you can't climb you can't win. He is just another bit player to Cadel Evans...

Indeed you're right mate, 5 very imprssive stages!

Hope he gets 6 this time round, but you could be spot on about the last bit though :(

Tiberius' date=' your faith in Evans seems unflinching, would you be prepared to have a sig bet on it? I will bet you Andy Schleck finishes higher in the GC than ****-chin-man.[/quote']

Having followed the race for many years I feel it is Evan's year. He has been plagued by weak teammates, PED competitors, and very unlucky crashes. Andy Schleck is a quality climber and a real greyhound but the skinny sneaky *****'s luck will run out this year just like the gang of poofters he has been conspiring with in recent tours.

I was very impressed with George Hincapie and Cadel's effort on stage 4. It was a great sign. As you know it will be decided in the mountains when Contador, Evans, or Schleck attack. I know Contador is favourite but he is a PED taking dog. I know Andy Schleck is second favourite but he is a skinny sneaky PED collaborating **** sucker. War Evans! Bet accepted!

Good. Best of luck to your man, a worthy competitor but one who I believe will wilt on the hills when Contador and Schelck are in a break.

He will really need to pull something out of that enormous crack on his face to stay with them.

Can I just confirm that if I travel to France and run alongside Contador and/or Schleck on a critical mountain stage and yell abuse at them then throw a cup of urine in their face' date=' this won't effect our bet?[/quote']

Hmm, if you do that, I will want Cadel handicapped the 8 seconds or so that he has over Andy. Do what you like to Contador, I don't mind him but I can see you passionately hate him.

I don't hate him, I just hope he has a horrific fatal accident going over the edge at the top of the Pyrenees...

Stage 6

Discuss.

Start: Dinan

Finish: Lisieux

Distance: 226.5km

Sprints: Vassy (131km)

Climbs: Cote de Saint-Michel de Montjoie (99.5km, category 3), Cote du Bourg d'Ouilly (156.5km, category 3), Cote du Billot (197km, category 4)

THIS is the longest stage of the Tour, starting at one of the race's most historic venues.

Sited on the River Rance, Dinan hosted Tour action from 1927-31, with its most recent exposure coming in 1995.

The sprinters will again expect to be at the fore, but they cannot afford to be reckless as they course through Mont Saint-Michel from Brittany to Normandy.

The villages and towns of Pontorson, Beauvoir, Courtils, Pontaubault and Avranches will feature before the stage moves towards Mortain.

Notionally, the fast men should dominate - but there is a catch.

The steep pull in front of the Basilica of Lisieux, only 1500m before the finish, adds another dimension for the sprinters.

Lisieux, a pilgrimmage town, will welcome the Tour for the fourth time, the most recent in 2006.

Then, when the stage started in Lisieux and finished in Vitre, Queenslander Robbie McEwen celebrated one of his finest victories.

Team Sky are looking good, but I still think, among the British media anyway, Wiggins is hugely overated. The first week is not relevent anyway to the GC. Been too many crashes for my liking, unlike most other racing sports, crashes on the tdf I'd rather not see at all.
